For an RX with msrp 49k and selling price 45k, what should I expect for 36 month 12 or 15k lease with zero down? Are 0.00105 and 59% reasonable these days?

.00105 is the base MF on the RX this month, and the residual for 36/15 is 59% (add 2% for 12K).

Using your MSRP and selling price, I get a pre-tax payment of $524.55 for 36/15.

Hi,

just to add to what I have said it before regarding my new lease. I originally thought that $1000 rebate was a customer loyalty one. It turned out to be "Subvention Cash" rebate from Lexus. So, if you are going to negotiate for a new lease, mention that to your car dealer.

Use the "Car Research" tab at the top of the page to get a current list of all available Lexus incentives (conquest, lease cash, loyalty, etc.) that you can use to lower your cap cost *after* you've negotiated your best deal.

With the base MF and your MSRP, selling price and residual (which I assume has been adjusted for the extra miles), I get a pre-tax payment of $548.45/mo for 36 months.

Add 2% for 12K and 3% for 10K.

Can you please tell us how Lexus grades credit scores for leasing and if there is a difference in mf accordingly? I know that Chrysler and many others blend Tier 1through 3 into the same rate... *While shopping with various dealers, one dealership made a dozen inquiries into our credit even though we were only interested in leasing. They alleged it was a mistake; However, the FICO was damaged. Score dropped over 70 points to 635. Very unprofessional. *I think Lexus / Toyota blend the tiers similar to Chrysler but I need to be sure... Thanks!

Tier 1+ is anything over 720

Tier 1 is 690-719

2 is 670-689

3 is 650-669

4 is 630-649

5 is 610-629

6 is 580-609

7 is 520-579

From Tier 1+ rates...

Tier 1 is an add of .00010

Tier 2 is an add of .00045

Tier 3 is an add of .00135

Thanks kyfdx... So I assume Toyota/Lexus doesn't blend tiers like Chrysler??? Does the dealership have any ruling on this? Especially due to the extenuating circumstances (FICO drop was due to dealer error)?

Don't know how lease taxes work in DC. Either the payment itself is taxed (pmt * tax rate), or the taxes for the entire lease are calculated at the beginning of the lease and either paid up front or added to the cap cost.

A few states calculate sales tax on the entire purchase price (MD is one of those states) - this makes the lease payment a lot higher.

thank you! really torn between the f sport and the land rover evoque right now... i think i will have to pay tax in dc at 7% (based on vehicle weight) of the entire purchase price, and not sure whether i can roll that into the lease... where as the evoque would be at 6%, lower payments ($470), but longer lease (39mo)....

Any opinions on the Lexus "Excess Wear & Use Protection Plan"? I'm new to leasing and just not sure how particular dealers are when the vehicle is returned. Also interested if anybody has priced this. I priced a Lexus Financial Services extended warranty (they call it a LFS VSA) for our existing RX350 which we own and noticed that there was a wide range of dealer pricing for the exact same Lexus product. (Several dealers at the high-end priced the warranty at twice the price of the low-end dealers). Thanks!

Interesting timing.. Had my lease-end inspection done on our 2011 Infiniti, today. 36 months, 36,000 miles... ZERO end of lease charges..

Outside of excess mileage charges, I've had a grand total of $70 in wear and tear charges... on about 10 leased cars...

Has anybody used a $2000 Lexus Welcome Back Certificate? Do you know if the $2000 comes from Lexus or from the dealer? Can you make your lease deal and show it to the dealer when it comes to making your upfront payment of first payment, document fees, bank fee, and tax?

I talked to my local dealer this weekend. The $2000 voucher is a real thing, comes from LFS and can be applied to a lease. I was quoted the following on a $46K RX 350 (FWD, no navigation model): 36 month lease, 15,000 miles / yr - drive offs to start, $400 (CA 9% sales tax included).

What is the current money factor and depreciation for an RX350? Looking at a $50K model with buy price of $46K and initial quote of around $550 tax rolled in and just tax/tags in NY. Also, are there any other incentives and what is the welcome back certificate (is it transferable?)?

$2000 all applied to monthly payments. Drive off included LFS lease fee of $725, 1st lease pmt + DMV tags. In CA, sales tax is applied to lease payments, not the total price of the car.
