Tri-Cities Toyota's offer is $14,719 through TrueCar for the 2017 Toyota Yaris 6-speed. A guy on the Scion iA forum told me to not be stuck with just one dealer - comparison shop.
We'll, he pointed out that they need to take the Toyota $2,000 manufacturer's incentive off of that. My salesman's offer says they have taken the $2,000 off already. Who's telling the truth? Because I say the TrueCar price is $14,719 before the manufacturer's rebate, leaving a RealBoy price of only $12,719. Oh, this could get really fun!
Under the picture of the car is a link to "view incentives" where truecar shows you what it is applying. When I look, the $14,xxx price is after the Toyota factory incentive of $2k.

But $14,719 is a very good price for a brand new 2017 Toyota Yaris iA. Those cars are well built and packed with standard features that have everything I need in there. The 7" info. screen will be chill.
Iluv, now you are getting greedy...you were happy to get a brand new car for less than a 2 year old car...now, you want them to give it away. I think you sent a copy of the invoice and they applied the $2000 discount.
Be happy....go for it! Just watch the trade in amount....they know you want the car, they know you have told your family and Edmunds friends you want the car, you traveling a great distance to get there.....they know you may accept any amount for your trade in at this point.

We know that....you have to convince your wife and the dogs!
The dogs will come along for the ride in Dad's new car...or if I bought a 1968 Datsun 411.
My wife? Let's just put it this way: I woke up yesterday from my pre-work sleeping session feeling totally confident in my decision to trade in. If it comes down to it I'll head south to the Tri-Cities and just say "I'm heading to the Tri-Cities to test drive a beautiful little car."
The Mirada and the Cordoba were both rather crisp, clean designs for the era, certainly an improvement over the models that preceded them which struck me as rather porky. Keep in mind that their competitors at the time were the downsized GM cars like the Monte Carlo and Grand Prix, along with the disastrously awful 1980 Thunderbird and Cougar. Chrysler was teetering on the verge of bankruptcy at the time and was in awful shape, but somehow managed to design these well. Unfortunately I gather the quality was terrible. I remember the wife of my boss in 1980 bought one because as she said she wanted to help keep Chrysler in business. Hers was a rather attractive metallic teal green Cordoba with wire wheel covers.
You may not be able to say much about Chrysler build quality of that era but they sure did come up with some nice styling. These days there isn't anything Chrysler that does it for me. I wanted to like the Challenger but for some reason it doesn't look as good as the original. Nothing else in their lineup comes even close.

The i3 recall is because of the moronic US regulations that require safety systems to protect UN-BELTED drivers in the event of a crash- The i3 apparently doesn't sufficiently protect un-belted imbeciles that are around five feet in height. I firmly believe that those kinds of regulations are an unwarranted interference with the law of natural selection.

Ok here's a trivia stumper. In in last year of production how many of the 2004 Olds Aleros produced were sold to rental agencies and what trim level?
I've been told it was 100% but there were 4 trim levels listed for 2004 so I'm doubtful. I have an aquaintence who is considering a GL2 trim and I want to warn him if it was a fleet beater.
Why be afraid of an ex rental? We've owned two ex Avis cars in the past and they were both just fine!
we are pushing 5.25 years on the RDX, and almost at 42k! I don't think we are ever catching up.
That's a whopping 8000 miles per year, whereas Bradd is averaging over 15K per year.
Our Outback is averaging just under 8500 a year, and the Jetta 5600 annually.
My Ford has only 10k after 40 months. I'm ashamed.
@28firefighter there are a growing number of people who think an all PA Super Bowl is a real possibility given the Eagles strong season and the Steelers starting (finally) to round into form. Like you I'll hold my breath until they punch their ticket.

A 2018 equipped the same way would sticker for around $55,045(add another $3,500 for the M Performance Exhaust and CF tips) assuming you could find one. We have one M2 allocation that is still modifiable. I'd go with Long Beach Blue as well and add the Executive Package(Adaptive LEDs, rear PDC, and heated wheel).

@driver100 ....I’m not familiar with Scepter’s TVs. I am familiar with their computer monitors, though.
I don’t think they’re associated with Sony. Sony has a relationship with LG, who provides OLED panels to Sony in their high end TVs.
GG, I was just quoting a guess by the author of the link. It was a wild guess;
If you happen to get hold of that 40-incher, take it home and try to program a universal remote controller to operate it, and it turns out that the manufacturer remote codes that the "oCosmo" responds to are -- wait for it -- Sony's.
Does this mean that oCosmo is really a contract manufacturer for Sony, and that its TVs are functional equivalents of Sony sets that retail for nearly twice the price of an oCosmo?
I honestly don't know. But if that's the case -- it would tend to explain why the oCosmos garner such high ratings from consumers, and why oCosmo has suddenly become the best-selling TV manufacturer in America.
A fully optioned M240i(RWD as God and Munich intended) has a MSRP of $53,520; on the street it's just as fast as an M2 and it's also a bit easier to live with. It's probably a better choice if you aren't a hardcore track geek. If I was going with two pedals I'd definitely go with the M240i, as I much prefer the 8 speed ZF automatic over the 7 speed DCT. Conversely, I'd get the M2 if I wanted a stick.

I’m leaving for Ponte Vedra Florida tomorrow morning after rush hour. I always have to enter my brother’s address into my car’s navigation system before leaving because he lives in a remote area of the Nocatee Community which requires many turns and traffic circles.
So I entered his address into my “Mercedes Me” App and sent it to the car. Tomorrow morning, the voice command will ask me if I want to start route guidance - i’ll respond yes and off I go.
I’m proud of myself after learning how to start a massage in my driver’s seat; pull up weather for the day and week; listen to internet radio; ventilate my seat; reset mileage on trip odometer and reset the computer’s average mpg, etc. i’m Getting there.
