We didn't get a ton of snow but I shoveled my driveway twice, last night and this morning.

Worse Online Bad Beat in Poker Story:

You hit the nut Ace high flush on the flop (with the A in your hand) with a big preflop bet (don’t remember calling or betting and being called, but doesn’t really matter).

You bet big on the flop or raise big and get called. You go all in on the turn which puts a 4th diamond on the board so any doubt they had that you were bluffing the flush is removed. They call all in anyway. All-in was an over pot bet here.

On the flop they had a lowly pair. On the turn they had a lowly 3 of a kind. On the river they hit runner runner for a full house.

99.99999% sure the program was hacked, the guy knew what was coming with certainty, and online poker was never the same afterward.

Might have to do it though before the next big storm predicted. I am hoping this weather pattern shifts and February is more cold and dry.

LOL, I love that you southern boys think 6-7” of snow is a big deal. Better get those snow blower instructions out and memorize them.😂

I was not going to buy it from the previous owner of our house. I asked how often he even needed to use it, and he sent me a picture of the driveway after the 29" storm from last year (or year before?) with the blower on the driveway. But how often do you get those?

I did not however find out that it was too big to fit in the garage along with both cars, so I would have to leave mine outside in the winter to keep the snowblower in there convenient, and I did not get a garage to park outside! I assume it can drive itself across the yard from the shed if I really need it. I think my neighbors did that with theirs yesterday.

Just get a tarp from Tractor Supply and park your snowblower near the driveway. You can put it back in the shed come Spring.

On Sunday I came up to a busy intersection. There were actually five lights above, in a horizontal configuration, the far left light was an arrow that was flashing yellow, the next two middle lights were solid round and green, the two lights on the right had a solid red arrow. What does the solid red arrow lights mean do you think?
Kind of like this - The arrows were solid red - not flashing and were on the far right of the traffic light, there were two;

Might be a trick question??????

Funny how they designed those cars, huge overhangs in the front and back, long hood and long trunk, and relatively little space for passengers. I kind of like the excess and impracticality of it all. I mean, it isn't as much fun when everything has to be made for maximum efficiency.

74’ Dodge Charger. It was certainly beautiful in an over the top way with orange shag carpeting and wild orange, black and white interior. Even back then I thought the front overhang was excessive. There was at least a foot of space between the radiator and front fascia. Such were the times. I can’t imagine what people of the 60s would think of the black tomb interiors and tank slit windows of today’s cars.

solid red arrow means no right turn (or left depending on which direction it is pointing. Usually see that at intersections where sometimes you can make a right on red but not always. for lefts, usually there is a green arrow of blank since you can always make a left.

Good guesses. In some states a right solid red arrow means stop, no right turn. In Florida it means stop and if the intersection is clear you can proceed on a red arrow, just like a red light. If you can't turn on a red arrow there is another sign that says No Right Turns Allowed NOW or something like that.
In Florida a green arrow to the left means you have an advanced or a delayed green and you can turn, you have the right of way. If there are oncoming cars who have the right of way, the arrow will be flashing yellow, meaning you can turn left when the way is clear.

Solid red arrow to the right varies from state to state from what I can figure out.

What people of the 60's would think about todays interiors would pretty much be the same as what people today think of using that gaudy 60's era living room drapes to upholster that car seat.

The 69 Olds 98 LS my parents had was the typical metallic brown, black vinyl roof and all black brocade and silk like cloth interior with a black suede like headliner. Yeh, but down here they really need that flashing yellow arrow light or who knows what they will be doing?
At the end of my street there is a left turning lane, the left green arrow comes on first, 4 cars get through, then it goes yellow, another 2 cars go through, and then it is red for 5 seconds and then the cars can go through that are going straight in the opposite direction, and then the yellow flashing arrow comes on saying you can turn left when it is clear from traffic going the other way.
A lot of the intersections are wide ones with one or two left or right turn lanes, they actually do need those arrows here.

I have everything on my desktop hard drive. I just plugged in the USB drive and dragged everything I wanted from my music folder to the USB drive.

I had a big iTunes library too, and files in various other formats, and ended up using a program called Media Monkey to consolidate them all (including eliminating duplicates) and using that to write out to a USB drive. Seemed to work well and the Maverick is happy with the format. Can also make playlists and all that good stuff in the program if you want and they import.

I think I ended up with about 3,000 songs first pass. One of my retirement hobbies will be copying the other 1,000 or so CDs in the basement onto the computer! The program also handles importing from CDs (so no need to put into iTunes then copy them back out).
