Would the selection of options/packages, i.e. rear seat entertainment, tow package, sunroof, etc., make a difference in the MF or RV?

Individual options do not affect MF or RV.

Just leased a 2014 Dodge Durango today and curious everyone's opinion on how I did.

2014 Dodge Durango Limited AWD
Term - 39 months / 10,000 miles per year
MSRP - $42,480
Cash at Signing - $1,000
Trade allowance $1,638 ($2,128 over KBB excellent trade value; was a return of a lease 10.5 months early)
Monthly Payment - $413

I think I did ok but i'm still somewhat new to leasing so it's very hard to tell.

Yes, that includes tax. It seemed to be ok especially since we were moving out of our Jeep lease 10.5 months early. Glad to hear I didn't get my shirt taken

2015 MF and Residual for AWD Citadel and R/T? In NJ...... 3 years, 12K a year. Even if the December numbers, I can at least get an idea of where these payments might fall.

Chrysler numbers are valid through Monday, 1/5/15.

Citadel - .00123 and 53% for either 36 or 39 months, 12K.

R/T - .00084 and 52% for either 36 or 39 months, 12K.

Sorry to follow up but here's something I noticed on the Dodge website if you look under their incentives page for Durangos and then their lease deals.

They offer a 36 month lease with an APR of 1.58% ( which would equal a .000066 MF). Did the incentives and rates change after 1/5? What would the January rates be for a 2015 AWD Citadel in NJ? 12K miles a year. If I run the quick math it would seem the residual stayed at 53% but the MF dropped.

Would the rate stay the same for 39 months? And are there any new incentives in January for the 15s? Lease cash, conquest? Thanks again!

The numbers did change ...

2015 AWD Citadel - .00066 MF and 53% for 36/12; subtract 3% for 39 months.

I don't see any, but I would suggest you use the "Car Research" tab at the top of the page to link to the current incentives.

Ok. My first lease. So I picked up my vehicle on 10/29. 2014 dodge Durango limited awd with the Rallye package. The MSRP.was $43775. I received 3000 in rebates to make the final price 40775. I then paid all taxes , fees, and first month payment up front which resulted in $3800. I have a 39 month 10k term which results in a $479 per month payment. This also includes all maintenence performed on the vehicle. So for my first lease, are these numbers good ? Could I have done better ?

Seems OK ... who is the finance company the lease is through? Dodge dealers have many to choose from, though we only have numbers for Chrysler Finance.

How many miles per year are allowed? I suspect the low residual on the Durango is hurting your payment.

15,000 per year so I calculated based on the 47% residual and seems like my numbers are pretty close. Might be off slightly because there was a $750 discount but only available on a purchase. I also don't know the bank fee but assumed around $400-$500 and there appears to be a dealer fee of $80 which would bring true Cap Cost to $42,648.. Let me know your thoughts and if the numbers seem right and if you think a decent deal.

Acquisition (bank) fee is $595 for Dodge. $80 is the capped doc fee in CA. Looks like your numbers are spot on.

I'm getting $489.60/mo before tax. Ask the dealer what the net cap cost is - if it's different than the sales price, ask them to explain how they calculated that number.

What is FFP? You should, at the very least, be able to negotiate a transaction price close to invoice, regardless of incentives. Use the pricing tools at the top of the page (Make / Model / Year) to help establish a target price.

I doubt employee pricing has any impact on the lease variables. Only on the selling price.
