Thanks for all the information you provide. Could you please provide the current residual and MF for 1) overland 4x2 36mos/15k and 2) limited 4x2 36mos/15k. Is there any residual difference between a 4x2 and 4x4?
Limited 36/15 4x2 - .00034 and 52%
Overland 36/15 4x2 - .00024 and 49%
Limited 4x4 - .00008 and 52%
Overland 4x4 - .00022 and 51%
Michaell, do you also have the same Overland numbers for a 12K lease?

Add 2% to the residual numbers for 12K miles per year.
I have a general question related to lease payments - I am noticing a slightly irritating consistency: "What is your current lease payment?". Why is this relevant to the numbers they give me? Am I wrong in thinking this is just them seeing how much playroom they have in order to extract the max from me? I mean if I Pay 500/600 now and the point of going to a diff model is to lower this, why would I pay MORE than this for LESS car?
I feel like I should like and give them the lower number I want to be near. Thoughts?
Don't negotiate the payment, negotiate the price of the car. This is a tactic used by dealers to confuse you.
If you have an existing lease, treat it as a separate transaction. Like a regular loan, a lease has a payoff value from the bank and the car has a specific trade value to the dealer. If you have positive equity, have the dealer cut you a check. If you have negative equity, then you have to pay it off or roll it into the next lease.
I did ask for a check the last time I did this but am honestly running out of patience. I'm a bit shocked this time the few dealers I've even mentioned the equity to end up saying there isnt anything in it - the car was loaded JGC and should be at 36kmiles - isnt even at 30k...
Do they ask what is current payment so that they give you an estimate near that range? I'm looking at others bc I want a departure from what I presently pay. (Tard at Nissan tells me MP 600 for a [non-permissible content removed] suv - when I pay less for my loaded JGC. what a load of bollox). Again, apologies for my French
Also - I can turn in/get a check from ANY dealer - not the one I got the car from - correct?
I believe that is correct. Remember, Chrysler is taking the car back; the dealer is just acting as an agent in the transaction.
Thanks - so the others asking about what the current monthly payment is - just a tactic to get you to pay the same regardless of their profit/SP etc, right? How is that relevant to any deal being made - what I presently pay - IF i am NOT rolling any payments into new lease?

Yes, nothing more than a tactic to confuse you. If you have a current lease, treat it as a separate transaction, if you want.
I show the numbers for that vehicle to be .00022 MF and 50% residual.
My numbers come from Chrysler Capital. It's possible that they are using another bank, like Ally, where the numbers are different. Even though the Chrysler Capital numbers are better, it's possible that you get bigger incentives with the other bank, making the lease payment lower.
Do you know which bank they are using? What is the payment?
Went to another dealer and got the money factor at 0.00022 and 50% residual but not much discount on the selling price. This guy can do 39 month lease with a monthly payment of 520 which I think is pretty good.
The dealer yesterday did say they use other banks such as Ally. However they were able to give me 5k off sticker. The monthly payment comes to 560 which is higher than I expected given the fact that they have lower residual and higher MF.
Test drove LIMITED today and actually liked it. It's a little under powered but handles quite well. I like the stiff suspension and it doesn't feel bumpy. Interior has cheap flare but with black leather and buckets seats of Overland it's feels pretty ok.

Standard MF (around .00200 or so is my guess) and 41% for 36/12 for both the 4x4 and 4x2.
