Not bad. Lindsey emailed me and gave one of the best quotes I've recieved. They had my trim but not the color, or else I would have purchased. mikepattonhonda.com ask for a quote!

Bought for $16955 + TTL. Excellent experience @ Rossi Honda, NJ. Thanks for this forum.
  • trace89371trace89371 Member Posts: 7
Well the deal is done. Bought it in St Louis out in West County. 22,425 out the door. Free tank of gas, free mud flaps, floor mats, Offered 4.90 interest but took the credit union since it is simple interest. Saved 200.00 over the 5 years there.

Taxes are paid at the license bureau.

All in all, I feel pretty good considering the state of affairs here in the mid-west.

Stephen Vincel Honda was a very class act to work with. Sue Doyle is who I worked with. Tell her Tracy Rollins referred you.

I don't know anything about group buy. They didn't say anything of that nature in the email.

I got another quote from Valley Honda for 19495. I am driving 4 hours to get one of these deals. It is worth it to me.

It's not really a group buy per se, but rather the notion of having "strength by numbers"; e.g. if you and a friend show up together to buy two vehicles, you now have the leverage of potentially negotiating further discounts now that there is the potential for the sales person/dealership to either close two deals or lose two deals at one time.

Good deal. Sedan or Coupe? And was the remaining car sedan or coupe?

I don't really see how you could buy this car for $3200 under invoice. Did you have a trade in?
  • smeezysmeezy Member Posts: 42
Is the OTD price with TTL?

Mike Patton Auto! Lagrange Georgia, not much of a drive for you. Also, trust me, just call them, they are selling the lx's for 17k. EX-L for 21k, Atleast call them, they are so awesome, they are non commission dealership, they make their income, by volume, not by marking up the car! You will not be sorry, they have 3 EX-L's on their way

They will even ship to you, and still be less cost than a normal dealership, even now when the deal are already good. Very Friendly! Limited 07's left.
They have shipped cars all over the world!!

    Mike Patton Honda!!

    Good Luck!

Just purchased the accord ex v6 AT from Kay Honda Eatontown NJ(internet dept.) Cost including destination was $23100. The only items added were sales tax, doc. $199.00, and actual mv fees. They also gave me the 4.9% 60 month finacing deal.

We live in NJ and are looking to purchase the EX V6 AT. Who did you work with at Kay?

If anyone rec'd great prices from a Honda dealer in LA or San Diego, please let me know. I am getting no where with AZ dealers trying to purchase an EX I4 AT. Thank you.

I'm planning on buying '07 Accord Sedan EX-L-V6 AT in the greater Boston area. Wondering what some of the recent pricing has been and which dealers.

    Thanks,

I can't give you a specific numbers but I priced out several trim models in about every Honda dealer in Mass and NH last week and ended up going with Boch in Norwood. They had the lowest initial quotes every time and I probably could have gotten them lower if I wanted to spend the time. They have a huge inventory I'm sure there eager to get rid of.The only thing about them I didn't like was alot of there salesman look like they should be selling cell phones at the Mall if you know what I'm saying. The exception to this is the guy I dealt with. Steve Saunders is an older straight forward guy and patient and professional.

I bought a 6 speed Coupe from Wolfchase about a year ago if that's relevant. I got it for about $1000 under invoice. If you have the facts about other deals or Edmunds they will negotiate. But, they are NOT super cheap like of the deals you hear about on this board. Fair, though. Much cheaper than my local dealer in Jonesboro, AR at the time. Service department is efficient, too. Try a a few dealers in PERSON in Memphis and play them. I haven't heard of a 2-3000 under invoice deal in Memphis area, YET!!!Make history. keep me posted
  • donswartzdonswartz Member Posts: 28
I finalized my deal over the phone. Not pushy or anything. I put a deposit down with my credit card and I have the VIN number. Very easy to deal with. Lisle Honda in IL. Here is my deal.

$19,495.00 for the Accord EX 4dr automatic
    $57.33 Doc Fee
$1,173.00 Tax at 6% for Indiana
$10.00 7 day drive away if you live in Indiana
    ------------------------
    $20,735.33

I am picking up my new car on Tuesday!!!

Would you consider Graphite Grey with 2700 miles on it at an exceptional savings?
  • topsidertopsider Member Posts: 10
Is this an automatic EX-L-V6? Any options on the car other than what is standard?

From the low miles I assume its an '07 bought not long ago. Can I ask why you want to sell it.
  • topsidertopsider Member Posts: 10
I actually bought my current car ('98 Olds) from Boch brand new 10yrs ago. Its a commidty and not trying to build a relationship with the salesman. Once I bought the car I never saw them again.

Boch is on my list to contact.

    Thanks for the info.
  • zswxzswx Member Posts: 55
someone on this board bought it at $17300 including destination fee, so 17k is possible for an Accord.
  • smackldogsmackldog Member Posts: 82
    bluesky8 --

Take a look at this thread (#15522) that I started about shopping for an Accord here in the VA/DC area back on 6/29 and my purchase of an Accord 4dr EX I4 5AT for $18,134.85 + freight + taxes + tags + fees, for a total OTD (out-the-door) price of $19,716.52

As inventory of Accords here in the NoVA area are still high, you should be able to work out some pretty good deals.

    David

    trace89371,

Were you able to talk them down any and who else in the area did you work with? I have found that all the quotes are nearly the same.
  • chirocatchirocat Member Posts: 73
I am curious about the best way to get quotes from dealers. I see a ton of "advertised" quoting services and each dealer and indeed Honda has their own. Did most of you make individual requests from the dealers you chose or use Honda or even a "service". Did you mention any prices or simply put the car you wanted and sent it off?

    :confuse:

    thanks
  • bvdj84bvdj84 Member Posts: 1,724
Get your quotes by email, and pick the best one, play dealers against each other. Work price, and the payment, pick a model on the edge of your budget, work them down, you get the most from your money. Like if you wanted an EX, work on the EX-L, that way, either way your getting atleast what you want. It worked for me. Good Luck!

just saw a lease rate of 259.00 a month for 36 months 0 down $0 security deposit on o7 Accord V6 EX-L Team Honda Lithia Springs Georgia. That seems like a helluva deal on that car!

Thanks, David. You got a real good deal. Could you tell me which dealer did you work with?
  • mamb1979mamb1979 Member Posts: 12
hi kevin. i have to thank you for pointing me in the right direction today. i was originally planning to buy a certified used accord and then saw your post. i emailed boch and quoted the deal my "friend kevin" got on an SE. final price after mininmal haggling via email and once over phone...

    Sticker: 22370
    Discount: 5592
    Subtotal: 16778 (wow)
    MA tax: 838.90
    Title Prep: 86
    Doc Fee: 298
    Final OTD: 1800.90

I couldn't believe it. They originally quoted that price on an LX, but I shopped it to Village Honda in Newton and they beat the price so I thought... what the heck, let me ask Boch for the SE at that price. Picking it up on Wednesday.

They offered the extended warranty for $1400 (and I turned it down). Curious what you all think about that. Financing will be finished tomorrow as I'm going through my credit union. The best they said they could offer me was abou 9%, but my score is 770 and I'm almost certain my credit union will do under 6%.

Anyway, this post is long enough. Thanks again! :shades:
  • fxguyfxguy Member Posts: 132
Was this a V6 SE? I ask because the MSRP for a 4 cylinder SE is only $20825.
  • zswxzswx Member Posts: 55
    Unbelielable! Congratulations!
  • mamb1979mamb1979 Member Posts: 12
Nope. Its a i4. According to Edmunds, the sticker price is $21,625 plus destination...they say 22,220. My sticker says 21,775 plus destination = 22,370. Its a PZEV...so I wonder if that would make the difference. Oh... forgot to mention that it is automatic and the final price was 18,000.90 not 1800 ;)

I am looking for an Accord SE I4 Automatic in the Allentown, PA area. I would consider purchasing in New Jersey or Philadelphia. Any recent deals in these locations for this or other Accord models? Thanks.
  • mamb1979mamb1979 Member Posts: 12
I was hoping I'd get that reaction from someone! :) Also, I thought I'd say that Village Honda in Newton called me right after I left for Boch Honda and told me that they'd sell me the LX Auto for $16k before ttl.
  • smeezysmeezy Member Posts: 42
Finally bought my Accord. Accord Coupe LX V6 for $22800 OTD. Hayward Honda in the Bay Area, if you want dealer info reply with your email. Was juggling between that or an SE V6, and I got a great quote for that as well.

I have a question though, under the hood I forgot to check before I left the lot (I know.... stupid), and when I checked it when I got home I noticed there was no window wiper fluid and the anti-freeze fluid was less than 1/2 full, is this normal?
  • blufz1blufz1 Member Posts: 2,045
Re the antifreeze. I presume you are referring to the plastic see thru reservoir. Look closely the full mark is only about 1/3 or so up so it may be ok. Hope this helps.

I was planning to go to Mike Patton in LeGrange Georgia until I found a similar deal in Pompano Beach, Florida. I picked up an Accord EX-L V6 with Navigation on Sunday for 24,721 plus TTL and $349 dealer fee. The dealer was Pompano Beach Honda and the Internet Sales Manager we worked with was Chris. If you are looking for a great deal in Florida, contact Chris. They still have plenty of inventory in stock. :)
  • briz2briz2 Member Posts: 42
WOW - now thats the deal im looking for .. i hope that migrates to other dealers.... was the 4.9% for 60 months available with this deal?
  • ktm308ktm308 Member Posts: 17
Yes, the special financing was available. The actual rate is 4.99%.

I am just getting ready to start a search/negotiation process for a VP automatic but can not find any official Incentives, Dealers Cash, Marketing Support that I can use to negotiate. And the prices you all are getting are just unbelievable. Any help would be greatly appreciated... How much should I offer for a VP automatic and how long they are gonna be out there (I may even go for I4 SE or LX if the deal is right). Any pricing info would be greatly appreciated (Incentives, Dealers Cash, Marketing Support, hold-back, etc).
  • smeezysmeezy Member Posts: 42
Yeah I checked and it's about 1/2 an inch above the min level. What should I do? The dealership I bought it from is hours away.
  • louisnlouisn Member Posts: 110
As long as it's above the minimum line you're fine. Enjoy the ride. If you have to top off do not go above max line and read your manual. Use Honda antifreeze.

Bought for $16955 + TTL. Excellent experience Rossi Honda, NJ. Thanks for this forum. "

Just got an email back from Rossi Honda:

"This person was a local customer of ours. We will be getting his service business here to help make up some of the loss. This price of $16955.00 did not include the destination charge of $595.00 either. I will be able to sell you the SE Accord for $17,850.00."

    :-(
  • alamocityalamocity Member Posts: 680
Not sure there are any official incentives on the VP model but dealers do seem willing to sell well below normal price, many are selling at cost and it seems some are even going below cost to move the vehicles. Best advice I can give is do a search on the forums for your state to see what others have paid. Might also want to check which dealerships have the most vehicles in stock, the ones who have the most on the lot are more likely to deal.

I guess I'll collapse two things into one post. First off, congratulations on snagging the car at that price - that's an amazing deal. Did you by any chance keep any options? I bought the same exact car this weekend and they had this alarm thing they had "already installed" and would cost about $400 to keep it in the car. I flatly refused without thinking about it, but I've been sort of second guessing myself since then. That was the only unexpected thing from my experience.

I also bought my SE this past weekend in socal, for $17,200 + TTL.

Also, if anyone could answer, how much does installing an alarm cost (range or which one is recommended would be helpful as I don't know anything about alarms). And should I even get an alarm? I personally don't want one but now that I actually have the car I'm not sure.

Also, how much does tinting usually cost? I guess this is all for another forum but it's still pricing and stuff on the car so...thanks!
  • smeezysmeezy Member Posts: 42
Ok, I lied about checking the level again. I just checked it once more and it's right at the minimum level. Sucks, since the dealership I bought it from is hours away and didn't fill it up, I'll probably have to go buy it at the local dealership.
  • jetstream5jetstream5 Member Posts: 8
I have a price of $23130(includes destination)for the 07 EX V6, Trying to decide if I should wait for the 08 model, pay a bit more (I figure about $4000) and have a new model. Or should I take the lower payment on the 07. I figure to hold the car about 5 years/100,000 miles. Any thought on what the price differential might be after that time?
