I got a quote from a dealer in NJ on a '04 G35x Sedan leather with sunroof (non-premium) for $31,000 (that is the invoice price) + TTL, is that a good deal? Shall I jump in?
Yes, non-premium G35x has power front and rear windows. It has everything a "leather" G35 has.
Please tell me what deal did you get from Cochran or anywhere else.
I am in central NJ and am going to buy a AWD G35 in the next 2 weeks. Dont intend to get the premium package (Bose etc). What is the price I should pay ? Any recommendations for dealerships?
Thanks.
I been down the road more than once in G35x dealings.
I have a boat load of info. on prices and dealers in the area. What is your email?

Considering G35. Want the coupe but sedan is more practical.
I have lease every vehicle I've owned the past 10 years or so. I'm tired of it. I take great care of my vehicles but I always have to pay for something to get rid of my leased vehicle. They always get me on something. So, with interest rates so low...I feel it's time to buy and skip the lease. I am at an age now where I don't see myself needing another new vehicle for quite a while.
What is the consensus about leasing vs. buying. My last lease was for 39 months. I'm in my 36th month and my vehicle needs brakes and tires (about $700)...plus I'm sure they will get me for something when I turn it in. It's a hassle.
Any comments? The G35 is my vehicle of choice if I can afford it. I would have to finance it for a minimum of 5 years. If buying do you have more power to negotiate a "fair" price?
Thanks

Dealer's Actual Cost = ( Invoice Price - Factory To Dealer Incentives - Factory Holdback). The factory holdback for Infiniti is 1% of the Base MSRP + 2% of the Base Invoice.
In your case,
Dealer's Actual Cost = ($30,978 - $912 (holdback)) = $30,066 plus 3% of dealer cost for an offer price of $30,967.98. $31K sounds like a good price.

I had a Lexus GS300 for a lease... NOW i hate leases! If you know you dont drive that much or can get a tax break, i would... but i dont see any good reasons to lease unless you like to drive differet cars every 3 years or so. Luckily i had a friend who bought it off me which in turn got me off the contract.
I'm currently looking for a AWD G35X w/premium and the best i got was $200 over invoice and will flatbed the car over from a different dealer for free!(I like my cars NEW)
I'm in SO CAL by the way.

I was wondering if this is a good deal. I believe holdback is 2% of the sticker price excluding destination charge. He seems to be charging me a bit more than 5% profit. Please reply with any recent deals on a g35 coupe.

I am buying a G35X in 10 or 15 days, and one of my option is black inteiror with silver console. However, after I looked at several pictures, I begin to worry if the black interior has a silver console. Does anyone here know about it? Thank you'll very very much...
Has anyone received a quote for a 36/39 mth lease or know what incentives, money factors and the residuls are available for this model in july/august?
Thanks in Advance
36 months 15,000 miles - 0.00169 / 58%
39 months 15,000 miles - 0.0017 / 57%
42 months 15,000 miles - 0.0017 / 55%
If I remember correctly, the residuals are 1% higher for 12,000 miles a year.
"The silver console isn't available on the G35x."
I still think it looks better with the silver console in black interior. However, I already hired a auto buying consulting company 2 weeks ago and told them I wanted a G35x with black/silver interior. I will call them tomm and switch the option to the upcoming 2005 AWD model which has a redesigned instrument panel and console area with aluminum trim or optional wood trim. Hope I can get what I want and a good deal...
By the way, I really don't understand the japanese guys who designed the G35's interior. The G35 would be near perfect if they listen to comsumers' feedbacks and adopt some of them...sighn~~~~~
Thank you guys anyway...
Thank you

There are some dealers interested in moving the 2004's to make room and some not, depends on how you look at each dealers different situation. (ah dealers win in the end).
The 2005 pricing should be out around the first week of August. Despite what any salesman may say, no one at dealer level knows what the pricing will be. Rumours vary from 2% up to 15%. This will make a bit difference on 2004 strategy. Last year the price diffrence from 2003 to 2004 was around $200-$300 so deals had to be made on 2003s to shift them.
