$111,165 MSRP 8.5% discount as per TrueCar $101,715 net $2k out of pocket dealer fees/inceptions 36 months 10k miles .00130 money factor 52% residual 6% tax
$1,512/mo
That's a sweet spot?... With discount?...
What does subvented MF mean? Discounted? How would that work? Standard means the high, 0.0018 MF?
Yes... discounted. Some of the higher volume models have lower money factors. And, yes.. standard = high.
Are you suggesting dealers will give a variable amount of discount towards MSRP based on the length of the lease?
No.. not at all. Just that the "sweet spot" on a lease isn't just dependent on the residuals, but also on the level of discounting from MSRP.
Your math is correct... but, the base MF for the 2015 S550 is .00095, not .00130. .00095 MF would drop the payment to $1453/mo.
Thank you so much.
You're unaware of how the MB MSD program works, correct? I don't think there is one... Let alone that a dealer out there exists that would let me:
customize an S550 get it for 8% off then apply MSDs
I doubt they are that desperate for sales. Is that a good assumption? I'm probably not their clientele if I can't swing $1,500/mo or buy it outright. Wouldn't you say? :P

Hi, could you please provide the current residual and MF on S550 with 7,500 miles and 24mo.? Also, what would be considered a super great selling price if the MSRP is 102,025? Thank you!

.00095 MF and 64% residual.
36 month residual is 53%.
No clue on Mercedes pricing. You can use the Make/Model/Year tabs at the top of the page to find a targeted sale price. It's going to be very expensive to lease with those residuals.
Hi, Could you please provide the current residual and MF on 2015 S550 for 10k/36mo and 12k/36mo. Also, do you know if MB lets you purchase additional miles before the end of the lease at a discounted rate like BMW does? Are there any incentives (loyalty, etc.) that can help bring down the sale price? Thanks!

36/12 numbers are .00095 and 51%. Add 1% for 10K.
MB actually offers fixed residuals for 20K per year leases. For the S550, it would be 44%.
Use the "Car Research" tab at the top of the page to link to current incentives.
What someone quotes the MF, does this mean this is what the dealer should be offering me or do they standardly mark it up. When I told my SA the MF based on this thread, he laughed and said, "yeah that is our cost but for consumers it is XXX" and he of course marked it up a bunch. I am not sure if this is a sales tactic or the way it is usually done.

Most Mercedes dealers will mark up the rate. At least your guy was honest with you.
Depending on how much he marked it up, that could raise your payment by $80-$200 per month.
What's the MF and residual for s550 COUPE 10K miles for 24, 30, 36, and 48 months?
I sincerely appreciate all of your help.
Standard MF and 63%/57%/53%/45% residual
Is Standard MF = 0.0018 for top tier credit?
Dealer is telling me .00239. Is he marking it up?
We've seen standard come in anywhere from .0018 - .00225... Most in the higher end of that range. .00239 may be marked up a bit, but couldn't tell you for sure.
Is there a limit to the number of miles you can buy at $0.20 at the start of the lease? On a 30-month lease the residual on a 10K lease is 58% and drops to 55% on a 15K. It looks it actually comes out cheaper to do the 10K lease, and buy the extra 12,500 miles at $0.20. Has anyone tried this?

You can't do that ... you can only add miles when you start at 15,000.

Seems hard to believe that extra miles on an S-Class are only $0.20, too.. Just guessing that as you go up the line, the extra miles might be more expensive.
Hello. I would love some help. I am looking at a 2015 fully loaded s550 that has a MSRP of $135,000. It's because it is only one of 2 or 3 cars left with the upgraded sound, sports and comfort packages. I have ordered a 2016 but it won't be ready for another month so I am thinking of buying the 2015 instead. The 2016 MSRP only totalled $120k because there are other upgrades in the 2015 that I don't need (rear seat features, etc).
I want to put down $2500 or so and get 10,000mi/yr. Can someone tell me what would be a good deal to accept? The car is coming tomorrow and my sales rep has not sent me numbers yet. I don't want to waste anyone's time if we can't get some prelim numbers showing a good deal since this is a 2015. If not, I can hold off another month till the 2016 arrives but there are no firm numbers with that one either and I am guessing even though the MSRP is $15k less, they may be less willing to negotiate.

You didn't provide a lease term, so I'll assume 36 months.
36/10 lease numbers on the 2015 S550 are .00051 (4Matic) and 51%; for the 2016, it's .00107 and 52%.
We don't recommend putting money down on a lease; if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.
Yes 3 years, thank you for the numbers. I guess in the end it will depend on sales price. Do people negotiate 2016 vehicle prices or are they going at MSRP with MB right now? I know BMW is not interested in discounting the 7s since it's a redesign.

No reason to think that some discount isn't possible. As much as a 2015? Unlikely.
Hi Mod, Is there any reduction in MF for a single pay lease on a S550 4Matic (30/10K and 36/10K) for October? Thanks
.00051 MF and 58%/51% residual.
Generally, MBFS only offers a single-pay reduction off of the Standard MF. Since this MF is already subvented, it's doubtful they will have a single-pay discount. But, you can always check with the dealer.

Just spoke with a local dealer. Is it possible that a single pay on a 30 month is 0.00001 or 0.0024%?

If you can get a single-pay discount off of the .00051 MF, then yes.. it's possible it could be .00001
One hint: Stay away from converting the MF to an APR. You'll just confuse the calculations.
