Do prior model year residuals historically go down in November? For example, did the 30 and 36 month residuals on 2014's drop significantly last November as the 2015's were being released to dealers? Thanks.

We don't keep track of history..
But, at some point, lease deals on the prior model year stop being offered. There is no crystal ball to see what might happen, next month.
Quick question. My special order 2016 s550 arrived at the dealer ($118k config). Should I wait the 1 week till November for better rates? Or is there minimal change usually on the next year's cars from month to month this time of year? I am planning on a 3y lease, 12,000mi, minimal down. Thanks for all the help.

.00104 MF and 51% residual.
Not a great lease program, but typical for that class of vehicle. I really have no idea what might happen next month, but it seems doubtful that the program would change much. It is the same as September.
But, you have something to lose if it does get worse, as you have ordered your car and you are getting it, no matter what. Personally, I wouldn't take the chance, but it's not my money.
Usually, a dealer will push you to complete the deal by month end, if your car is in and ready to go.
Does anyone know the latest terms for an s550 coupe? 36 months with 15,000 miles. Msrp 140,000 sale price 130,000. Being quoted a residual of 68000 with MF of .0003. Thank you.

.00047 MF and 51% residual. So, they are marking up the MF a little bit.
No experience with negotiating a $100K+ car, so can't tell you if the price is good.
The MSD program is a good idea to save money. But, I'd try to negotiate for the base rate of .00047, then use the MSD program. If you are starting from .00047, you shouldn't need as big of a deposit to drop the rate to the minimum.

Picked up a 2015 S550 4matic 30 month / 10K miles per year single pay lease MF = .00001 and residual = 58% MSRP: $116,860 with 2 year prepaid maintenance
Total of all payments: $34,497, including upfront fees and early turn in of 2014 E350 lease Averages $1149.90 per month based on 30 months

Okay--new deals to give me feedback on. Was very tempted to get the S550e (hybrid) but the lack of much trunk space gave me pause. Could have made a great deal on a 2015.
Here is a what i have--2 separate cars--both MY2016 S550
Deal 1: MSRP: 119,545 Discount: 15,550 Cap Cost: 103,995 Residual Value: 60,967 $3K drive off (includes about $800 cap reduction) 36 mo/12K $1,463.95
Deal 2: MSRP: 110,605 Discount: 13,955.54 Cap Cost: 96,649.46 Residual Value: 56,408.55 $3K drive off (includes about $800 cap reduction) 36 mo/12K $1,383.00
Supposedly .00104 MF.
Seems to me that the residual is off as should be 52% but calculates at 51%.
Also, how could the payments between the two deals be only $8K apart but yet there is a $7K+ spread between the two sell prices and a $4K spread between payments? Something's fishy right?
Deal 1 car is UNBELIEVABLE--LOADED and gorgeous. If i can get that car under $1400, i probably take that deal otherwise i think the other car should be closer to $1250/mo.

.00104 MF and 51% residual is correct.
$1367 and $1277 are the payments, plus tax.
Your quoted payments are only $80/mo. apart.... not sure how that equates to $4000.
Is residual value based on a percentage (of the sale price) other than the actual agreed upon selling price for Mercedes? For Porsche, they told me it was a predetermined value (lower than the car price) regardless of what options were placed in the car? This obviously changed the lease payments considerably.
Thanks.

Residual is applied against the MSRP. Some brands - like Porsche - also use a maximum residualized MSRP (MRM) which caps the MSRP subject to residual. Anything above that is charged 100%.
So so far as I know, MB does not employ that practice.
2016 S550 4 Matic Sedan MSRP: 112,185 Sale Price: 104,109 0 Down 36 month/10k miles Residual: 58,336.20 Sales Tax 6% in MD
I'm calculating $1532 before Doc Fees and Quoted $1867.15 at "Mercedes Base Numbers"
Am I doing something wrong or are the numbers way off "base."
.00107 MF and 52% residual.
Maryland levies sales tax on the full selling price, which is going to raise the payment a lot more.
I get $1445/mo., pre-tax. If you add $6246 in tax to the selling price, then I get $1625/mo.with tax.
"Mercedes Base Numbers" is BS sales talk. Ask them for the money factor they are using.
Also, I'm sure that Mercedes also has an MRM, but you probably aren't going to run into it at that level. It's easy to run the Porsche options way, way up, and the MRM comes into play a lot more.

Residual will be reduced for the extra 15K miles over the 15K/yr number, but not sure how much per/mile on an S-Class.. possibly $0.30/mi.

I was wondering how the RV and MF on a 2016 S550 Coupe compare to the numbers on the 2015 S550 Coupe mentioned above?
Also, I'm looking at a 2015 S550 Coupe with a MSRP of $152k (almost every feature). What ballpark discount should be fair for that vehicle?
Thank you,
Lam

and Residual on 2015 is 50% and 2016 is 52%.
Seems as if the numbers don't match up?
Also think i should be able to work a better deal, especially on 2015.
THOUGHTS?
2016 S550 - .00104 and 51% for 36/12
Using your prices, and assuming $0 cap cost reduction, I get $1243/mo + tax for the 2015, and $1363/mo + tax for the 2106.
Find out what the $5K at signing covers, and what the net cap cost is for both vehicles - if higher than the selling price, ask what the dealer added.
