I don't really understand where this $7,219 "rent charge" came from. If I put in 16,218 in a financial calculator with 5.25% apr for 36 months I get a payment of $487... Anyone know what is going on here or what I am missing? How can the MF charge equal 44% of the base depreciation (7219÷16218)?

We show 4.25% APR, but Ford has about 50 regions, so maybe 5.25% is right, but I'll guess they are marking that up..

But, you aren't financing $16,218. You are financing $53,527 (initially), which is the selling price of the vehicle, as that is the amount of money the bank has to pay the dealer for the car. In essence, you are paying that "loan" down from $53,527 to $37,945 over the course of the lease. So, the amount subject to finance charges is an average of those two numbers. (times 3 years, of course, not one year).

Since Ford uses APRs, it comes out a little different, but if we convert the 5.25% APR to a money factor, it's right around .0022.
That gives me right around $634/mo.

I get $15,582 for depreciation ($433/mo.) and just about the same finance charge that they do ($201/mo).

Not sure where they get the extra $17/mo., unless your state taxes the payment.

The 1% markup to the APR adds about $38/mo. to the payment.

If you could please get me 1 more set of #'s. Same as before, except instead of 24/12k and 36/12k, lets make it 10,000 miles. You were correct that 4X4 being in IL.

Can someone elaborate on this I'm no expert on any of this but I have a current f150 lease Msrp was 54,000 I pay 420 monthly nothing down almost same equipped 2013 model. How could I double in price ?

We don't have any 2016 F-150 lease numbers available to us just yet, but $820/mo does seem a bit excessive for a $64K vehicle.

He ran the same numbers for 2015 and came up with that. This is my third lease in a row with Ford F-150 that's why I'm here asking. Could you run the numbers with a 2015 same model?

59% and 3.25% MF.

Using those same prices, that works out to $735/mo before tax.

Hi,

I spoke with several Ford dealers in DuPage County (IL), and they're all stating 4.25% on 35 and 2.25% on 24 for these leases. Your #'s were a bit lower. Can you confirm the dealers are accurate? It seems to me they are pulling it straight from the system and not increasing the money factor for profit. Thanks!

I can't confirm .... Ford has about 50 different regions in the US, each of which may have different money factors. And, we don't have the data for all the regions.

Trim line doesn't seem to matter... Cab configuration and 2 or 4 WD seem to be the differences.

All the SuperCrews are 2.50% APR for 24 month and 4.25% APR for 36 months

Ford uses an APR rather than a money factor .. you can convert by dividing the APR by 2400 to get the MF equivalent.

Unfortunately, now that we have all the info we need, it turns out there is no lease program available for the 2016 F-150 (as of November 10th.. the last update we have).

2016: No numbers, yet.

That's for California. We don't have any Nevada specific numbers, though they aren't likely to be any different.

I gotta say, I've leased a lot of vehicles in my day, and I've never seen money factors/apr's as high as I'm seeing quoted here. I'm not saying they're not correct, but I'm amazed. They're usually less than 1% on cars I've leased. Only BMW had figures higher. These 4 and 5% APR's just kill the lease payment...my 2 cents.

Hey there are three Customer Cash Bonus Cash incentives right now. 2250 Customer Cash, 1500 XLT Cash, and 1000 Bonus Cash. Actually there's a 4th for 2.7 V6 Eco Boost bonus cash at $300. Do I not get any of that customer cash if I do a lease? This is Texas by the way, same parameters as above
