Do you guys know if bmw has historically been offering lease incentives in May? I know that in fall there are cash offers or option credits to clean up lots for new year models but is there usually something similar in May? I am asking b/c I am getting fair deal for 328i lease in April but there is no factory cash. I could wait until May to see if they offer incentives but then money factor may possibly increase...

Money factors have been pretty static all year.. but, there hasn't been any cash on the 3-series since January. While residuals are pretty good right now, if I was looking for a better deal, would take the chance on waiting. New numbers come out on Friday.
I could be completely wrong, and the deals might not be as good... but, if I'm betting on the deals improving.
Getting the following deal and wanted to see if numbers add up:
328GT (premium pkg, cold weather, alarm) MSRP of $46900 a selling price of $44900 money factor of .00081 (MSD) resdiual of 65% based on 10,000 miles per year = $568.08 with $5016.08 ($4200 S.D.) due at signing. Tax (9% in PA) and plates are in the payments.
when I run it through a calculator I get around 500 bucks (plates aside - but I can't imagine that being more than 5-6 bucks per month)

I get $461.48/mo before tax, so your number seems about right.
Confirm the net cap cost with the dealer .. I suspect it's higher than the $44,900 selling price.
Adjusted cap cost is $45709.00 Aquision fee is $795
when combined we get to 46504 which takes us to 558 they gave me. Probably need to go to pricing forum but does that 44900 (2k off MSRP ) seem reasonable for a GT? My understanding is they are not in super great demand...

I want to lease a 2015 BMW 328i sedan in FL. Per the BMW USA website - build your own feature - the MSRP is $40,050 for the version I want.
I want to do 36 or 39 months with 15k miles per year.
Is it safe to assume the MF should be .00129 based on the above posts? Any news on RV for May for this yet? Is my understanding of this correct that the goal is for this to be a higher amount for it to be beneficial to the purchaser? Is base acquisition fee still $795? Do people usually get the acquisition fee waived? The $1k option credit - is that just towards adding "options" onto the car? Does FL offer any tax credits I should ask them to factor in? Any other tricks of the trade for reducing the payment?
This is the first time I'm buying/leasing so I'm sorry if my questions seem dense!
Hi again. In the end of April dealer offered me 328i for $39,000 (MSRP 42,500) which with all fees and 1000 down came down to 470$/month. With May 1000$ credit, MF and 65% residual this is 420$/month, but the dealer refuses to lease the car for this price. Is this common? What should be my strategy?

.00129 MF and 63% residual for 36mo, 15K/yr.
Base acquisition fee is $795. It never gets waived. Some dealers will try to markup the rate for extra profit. $995 is the maximum allowed by BMWFS.
The $1000 option credit is a customer incentive. "option credit" is just the name they gave it.

This is in Seattle WA where it is hard to get them to give good discounts so am happy
I needed help on one thing from you guys though. They are offering the lease end protection which seems to cover pretty much everything for $1275. Based on all I have read online the 18 inch run flats have a very short life and just for that i am considering if it is worth it. My wife who will be driving this for the most part is a regular driver who does not push the car much. Never bought a BMW before so dont know about these tires.
I normally don't go for these offers and want to avoid giving them extra money where not needed so just wanted some input from you guys if this one is worth it ?
Looking to lease a 328ix, MSRP 45,100. Sale price of 40,500. Vehicle to be registered in NJ. Dealer quoted $440 for 12k/36mos or $480 for 15k (I am rounding up figures). Tax and fees included. Only 1st payment and DMV due at signing. Does this sound like a solid deal?

.00129 and 63% for 36/15. With your MSRP and selling price, I get a payment of $399/mo pre-tax.

Hi all,
Looking to lease my first BMW and mulling over the following deal:
MSRP: $49,975
Final Price: $45,000
36/15
Monthly: $550 (taxes included)
Due at Signing: $1263
How does that deal look?
Thanks in advance!

I'm showing $510/mo with your numbers (.00129 MF and 63% residual).
Ask the dealer what the net cap cost is - my guess it's higher than the final price you've given me. Make the dealer explain how they got to that number.
I got the following from the dealer: MF - .0013 62% Residual Cap Reduction - $184.14
Also, this deal was negotiated at the end of April, before the $1000 Anniversary Credit... is that something I can get now?
I haven't signed anything as yet.
If you haven't signed, you should be able to reconstruct the contract with the new numbers I quoted you, including the anniversary credit. Looks like your dealer worked up the quote with the April numbers.
Can someone please advise on residual / money factor rates for a 2015 328i Sedan for 36 mo / 10k year?
First time leasing.... is it allowed to lump everything in monthly payment and have ZERO out of pocket upon pick up vehicle?
Thanks!
.00129 and 66% for 36/10.
I think you can roll everything into the cap cost except the first payment .. don't think there is any way around having to pay that when you sign the paperwork.

What is the full breakdown of the $3000 due at lease signing?
36/15 lease numbers for the 328i are .00129 and 63% residual. $1000 anniversary credit available this month.

I don't think the entire $3000 is going to the payment ... there is the acquisition fee ($795), dealer fee (unknown) at the very least.
With your MSRP and balance due amounts, along with the MF and residual from above, I get a payment of $442.40. So, just under $1000 of the $3000 is cap cost reduction.
Would you recommend doing a Ownership lease(balloon option) vs standard lease? I am confused between the two. I plan to return the car after 36months. I dont want any surprise payments at the end. I was talking to BMW salesman he said with ownership lease the monthly payment will be lower but than at the end there will be one big payment. Another salesman said that there will be no surprise payment at the end. You just turn in the keys and that will be it. Can you shed some light on this.

Owner's Choice is a balloon program, with the option to give the car back (like a lease). The main difference is the ownership, which gives you a tax credit on your current trade (if trading), and preserves the tax credit for when you trade-in this one..
I'm not very familiar with it, because it's usually only offered in full-tax states like Texas. You should ask someone at the dealership that really knows the details, to ask about any downsides.
What would be the lease payment on a 2015 328i xDrive using the following information:
$53425 MSRP $44899 asking 36 month term 15000 miles per year NY
What is the MF and residual? This is a demo with 7770 miles on it. Thanks.
.00129 and 63% for 36/15.
Leaving the demo miles out of the calculation, I get a pre-tax payment of $414/mo. The 7700 miles, however, are deducted from the calculated residual at .20/mi, so the residual comes down just over $1500, which would add about $43/mo to your payment - so, $447/mo before taxes. Still a good deal for a car that stickers at over $53K.
