No 18K program for Subaru .. miles are probably purchased up front at a set rate, likely between .10-.25 per mile.

Hi there, me again. Is that money factor based on a certain credit score or are there other tiers that dealers use for lessee's with less than excellent credit? I'd like to know if I can negotiate this with the dealer or lease provider in the event they quote a higher MF.

The MF's we quote assume top tier credit. Yes, most banks inflate the MF if you have less than perfect credit. Your goal should be to get the base rate for your lease.

For Subaru, anything over 700 FICO is considered tier 1.

Just wondering if you could take a look at this lease on a 15 Legacy 2.5i Limited with moonroof/keyless/navi. 36 months, 12k/year in MA.

Retail Value $29,785
Adjusted Sale Price $27,873
Trade Value $1,300
After trade $26,573
For title, registration and another fee he gave me amounts of $595, $359, $135. I can't remember which was which.

They quoted me a lease payment of $327 with $0 cash due at signing.

Does that seem right?

.0001 and 57% are the 36/12 lease numbers for the Legacy Limited.

Using the MSRP of $29,785 and the net cap cost of $27,662 ($26,573+595+359+135), I get a pre-tax payment of $301.26. Not sure what your tax rate is, but $327 seems about right.

Hello I am in New York, I just got a lease offer for 2015 Legacy Prem. 10k miles yr. with Sp/gurards a/w Mats and A/D Mirror for
274.64 with 2000 down... Cap taxes show as 1093.42 This seems high. Main reason I say this is the dealer has an ad in the paper for $159.00 Month 2k down for the standard model. The numbers dont add up. It seems like they are overcharging me by 50.00 bucks. MSRP 25048 Selling Price 24029. Please offer any advice!! Thanks.

Base model has different numbers.

Can't calculate the numbers without knowing the NET cap cost, after additions and subtractions... If the selling price was the CAP cost, then the payment would be around $261/mo.

No point in comparing your deal on a different trim line with a lowball advertisement in the paper...

With those numbers, I get a payment $229/mo.+tax..

But, how do you get a CAP reduction of $2991, if you are only putting $2000 down?

Hey, I finally bought a car! Went with the 2015 Legacy Premium. I had them add leather and they discounted the Cilajet. My payment is $323 a month. $315 rent charge, $3000 down, MSRP $28,307, adjusted cap cost is $26,080.40 and sales tax is 7.5%. Turns out I was tier 1 credit. They gave me all the numbers up front and I felt confident because I knew what the numbers meant. Thanks for all your help!
