They also have a couple of SL's at the Greenville SC store.
Maybe you can print out the details from carMax and use it for leverage with your local dealers?
praxis99......You can tell if you have the dynamic control option included if option T01 is on the invoice. Hope this helps......adnips
If it doesn't have the VDC on/off switch, it doesn't have the option installed. You'll see the space when you actually look at the vehicle's lower dash and it will be obvious if it has the option or not.
The 350z, and the Murano remain built in Japan.
Why would Nissan consider moving the production for such a small annual sales number to the US?
They already have a fully functioning assembly plant running in Japan. Just makes no economic sense.
including doc fees and temp plates and "tire tax"
which is the NY state only... . The price did not include state tax. We will register the car in NJ and pay lower tax than NY. I'm sure our local DMV office will have all kinds of fees and charges, but this is unavoidable.
After reading some horror stories on this page we were delighted with the most professional purchase and delivery experience provided by Newburgh Nissan.
Not to say an S isn't a great vehicle, it is, but "loaded" to me means features like the dual moonroof, power liftgate (one of my wife's favorite features!), leather, navigation, etc. You can get all those on the SL, but never on an S.
A good way to compare the trim levels and the options you can add is on the specifications page for the Murano at

I think NY will charge you for the difference in sales tax between NY and NJ.

The Murano is an incredible ride. Definitely can't wait until the break-in period is done.
also check the sticker info, it should list the options and it can't lie
The dealer insists the vehicle has VDC (as long as you can see de VDC icon in the gauges, and he is going to give me a factory certification about the VDC en my Murano, directly from Japan. Anyways, I think Murano is great and I will buy it. Any thoughts about what I exactly miss without VDC about stability and traction control ??.
No, the metal air intake stem and cap are if you have tire pressure monitor.
Look for the VDC button as explained is the best way to tell.
does touring package incl bose 7 speaker audio with 6 cd changer. it seems to be part of premium package but not clear if it is part of touring package.
The SL Touring Package includes the Leather Package, which includes the Sunroof Package, which includes the Premium Package, which, as you note, includes the Bose upgrade.
The SE Touring Package includes the Sunroof Package, which includes the Premium Package, which includes the Bose upgrade.
I am new to the chat room and I need some advice. I have been offered a drive out price of 30,995 (including TTL) on a 2003 Nissan Murano with the Premium Package, Heated Seats, Leather and Sunroof. The Murano is used and has 8400 miles. Is this a good deal? I have no way of telling since Edmunds does not allow you to select a 2003 used vehicle. I have until noon Saturday to make a decision. Help Please?
Off the top, the $31,000 does not sound like a great deal. A couple of dealers have hinted they would go to invoice to sell an 04 when the right vehicle comes in. I'm sure they will start adding in the junk fees over that amount.
AT this point you are buying a used car, with no way to compare it, except to the value of a new one, 03 or 04. Personally, I think you can do better...............adnips
I just moved from ATL to Austin. Bought my 2000 Maxima from Peachtree Nissan. The sell guy, his name is David something, quoted me a bottom price and did not added anything. So there is one place in ATL where they don't play around with the fee stuff, well atleast for my experience.
Also we just bought a 2003 Murano; we are Nissan customer, can you tell?
Loving the SL, did not get the AWD, Austin is too hot to have any ice or snow. We got $28400 final price, everything including TTL and fees for the 2003 SL, basic just floormat and cargo protection.
Good luck.
Mo '03 SL AWD
w/ navigation,
prem pkg, leather,
sunroof,
Dynamic Control,
Cold pkg,
26 miles (dealer selling as "demo" since used in local autoshow)
MSRP $37,660 dealer selling for $32,800 (ttt $34,100 out the door)
Absolutely love the car (as does my 4'11" wife - adjustable pedals swayed her) - but want to make sure my infatuation isn't setting me up to get fleeced when I head to dealer tomorrow. Thanks so much for your input/opinion.
Regards, Sharon
That kind of defeats the purpose of a message board doesn't it? :-)
You can tell MuranoHunter and everyone else all about it here: Nissan Murano

Thanks
Are dealers going to charge a premium for it?
My color is Deep Bordeaux. I have checked the internet inventory for about 30 dealers around the country and have only found two on the lots. Is this not a popular color or doesn't Nissan push it?
Any recommendations on dealerships in Dallas?
Regards
Sanjiv
Now, my registration sticker is expired and I want to get it renewed and get my title as its been several months since I paid the dealer for the car. I would appreciate it if you could advise me on what can I do. I paid the dealer by check, so I can prove I've paid him the money.
Thanks.
How convenient! I agree with norstr - run - don't walk - to the nearest attorney's office!
