Congrats... you can't drive much cheaper than that, on a 24-month lease

you got that right and PLUS don't forget based on 1200 miles monthly driving I save at least another $80 in gas over any other car (25 mpg vs 50 mpg).

Does '$0 drive' mean license and registration were rolled in to the cap cost?

Hello. Are the numbers above- 71% residual and 0.00001 MF, good for So Cal on Prius 2, 2-year, 12k miles per year lease for this month of June ?

I'm getting a quote for 68% and 0.00021.

I agree with those numbers - BUT, Toyota does not residualize their options, so a net residual of 68% may be correct for the car you are interested in.

Dealers are allowed to mark up the MF for more profit.

there is a big difference between $0 down and $0 drive off
$0 drive off is ZERO nothing you just sign the docs and in 30 days you get your 2nd payment on your lease.
$0 down it mostly means $0 cap reduction then you have to pay tax title reg 1st payment...
So be very aware if a sales person says $0 down and you thinking $0 drive off ,just make sure exactly based on the deal you are getting what you ask and agreed upon. and its very common that they say $0 drive off and then they say well you have to pay first paymnt and tax title reg....
I always go for the $0 drive off it makes everything clear and simple when you negotiate the deal and you shop around.

you are right not always you can achieve "true $0 drive off" as they roll the tax license doc fees acq and 1st payment into the monthly lease payment ....but like I said its a great way for most people to make it easy and clear way to negotiate and shop around and compare so you take out that double edge sword of negotiating drive off and monthly payments..to just monthly payments which make is easy to anyone to compare dealer X quote $225 plus tax to dealer Y $230 plus tax...of course we are talking about same specific and same msrp car shopping. look there are many ways to get to negotiate a deal I just feel this one is pretty easy.

...And remember dealers ( managers, sales persons ) play lot of games, you go to one with a quote i.e. $0 down and $225 a month ...after hours of negotiations they wear you down and they match the quote you came with or they give you couple dollars break and you go to sign and they jack up the doc fees and acquisition fee and fabricate few other fees...
so $0 drive off takes all that clatter away.

Are you in SoCal? If so, care to share the dealership you got your car from? I'm getting a quote that's close to this, but they're lagging. Must be a busy few days at the dealerships lol.

That's $5,976 less $2,000 Visa card = $3,976 for 2 years. Is there a reason why this $2,000 gas n go promo not generating more buzz in this forum than I feel it should? Is it because this kind of lease deal pretty typical?
