My question is on the residual value of a 36/12 Lease - 44% - wow that seems really low
Is it all of VWs PR problems that are making this so low?
Car drives great, but it "feels" like I would be paying to much of this car @ 44%
The low residual could be PR related, but given that it's a year old model now, it may also be an accurate reflection of what VW Credit thinks it will be worth in 3 years.
The $7K lease cash is meant to offset that, in part - with the discount, you're looking at almost 20% off sticker.
Call me crazy but I'm thinking of buying a 2015 toureg sport tdi. Anyone willing to share recent prices for these? With cash from vw and $2k loyalty and 0%this sounds like the time to buy.
My dealer has a brand new 2015 Touareg TDI Exec on the lot still.

They are leasing them, but we don't have the terms. I doubt they are favorable.
They may have VW-to-dealer incentives of 20%-25% of MSRP. But, they probably wouldn't make sense to lease. I'll guess they are priced at MSRP minus incentive. There is some pent up demand.

Does anyone have the MF/residual for 3/36 lease, dealer is telling me it's .004 and that seems high for a model that no doubt vw is trying to clear.
Also, any lease cash?
