Can you please provide the money factor and residual value for a SLE-2 Fwd. Looking at 24mo and 36mo @ 12k miles. In NC if it makes any difference.
Many thanks and happy new year.

    Three questions-
    1) I negotiated the purchase yesterday in the state of Virginia of a 2015 Acadia- AWD- SLT-1 with a sunroof package for $40,262 (Incl $925 Destination & $2,000 Mfg rebate); MSRP of car was $46,585. I then intended to negotiate a lease putting $0 down, 36 months, & 12K miles. We agreed on the MSRP and residual value factor of 60% but the dealer's net cap cost went to $43,750 stating a lack of flexibility on sale value given the lease company's involvement. I balked because I thought the net cap cost should have been based off $40,262. Am I wrong? I am wondering if there is any validity to what the dealer said.
    2) If sales tax gets added at the end to my lease payment, should it be included in the original gross cap calculation or excluded?
    3) I actually live in the state of CT. The dealer in VA charged us sales tax on the lease on the full value of the car when I was expecting the sales tax to be applied on a usage basis. Is CT a usage state?
    Thanks!

    1) There may be certain incentives that only apply to a purchase and not a lease.

    2) Excluded

    3) I believe VA is a state where the sales tax is calculated up front, but only against the depreciated amount. I only know of a handful of states (IL, TX, MD and GA) where tax is applied against the entire sale price. CT is, I believe, a usage state - the sales tax is applied only to the monthly payment.

Planning to lease a SLT-1 today and want to get the latest lease figures for SLT-1 AWD 3yr/45k . Also please let me know who the lender is (ally, US) I believe Ally has a $400 rebate so if all things equal I would go with Ally to take advantage of the rebate.
I'm in CA. Many thx and happy new year.

Leased an Acadia SLT-1 on Jan 2nd 3yr 45k miles. Big thanks to Michaell and kyfdx for all the info and input. Here is the deal I got for your reference.
SLT-1 Options: Carbon black. Open road package. MSRP at 46,440
    Negotiated price 43,639
    Ally administration fee 595
    Rebate 2,700 (DTP, XJE, DSX)
    Adjust cap cost = 41534
    Residual 58%, MF 1.3%
Tax is 9% here in CA
There is also a $600 Costco gift card rebate from Costco that's outside of the deal. The Costco gift card is for using their car purchase program (somewhat fixed negotiated price).

    Total out of pocket $1425.
    Monthly pmt $483

The rebates are awesome. Unfortunately they expired on Jan-2.

    Congratulations! Enjoy your new GMC!

Didn't see a thread on the 2015's so I figured I'd post here. Feel free to move it if necessary.

    Can I get MF and residuals for a 2014 & 2015 SLT-1 and SLT-2 (if different).

    36(or 39) mos. with 12k and 15k per year.

    South FL location.

    Thanks!

FWD? I assume since you are in Florida.

    2015 - 1.30% MF and 58% for 36/15. Subtract 2% for 39 months. Add 2% for 12K

No numbers for 2014 model year.

    Hi @quattro,

Q1: What do you mean by "out of pocket $1425"? Did you really cut a check of such amount, in addition to the adj cap cost $41,534? Or is it your "drive-off amount" which was already calculated into the adj cap cost?

    Q2: $483/mo is $443 + tax, isn't it?

    Let me know. Thank you.

    Hi @mmung4u
Yes, I wrote a check for the 1425 which includes 1st payment, dmv fees, bank fees, etc. don't think u can drive off without paying anything at all
    483 is 443+tax

The Acadia is a nice SUV. Do check out the bench seat instead of the captain if u don't need access to the rear all the time. The bench is more comfortable than the captain in my opinion.

    For the record I leased a 2015

What is the net cap cost? Without that, we can't model the payment. Don't negotiate the payment, either - negotiate the selling price and understand fully how the dealer goes from the selling price to the net cap cost.

What state is this? Your cap cost ought to be lower given the rebates; is the sales tax calculated and added into the cap cost up front? And all other fees?

With the numbers you are providing, I'm getting $351.17/mo for 39 months.

Hello quattro and others. I'm looking to get an estimate of what I should expect to be paying for the 2015 Acadia SLT-1, SLT-2 and Denali. I am in New York (8.75% tax). The lease for my Dodge Durango RT is ending next month and I'm considering the Acadia (any thoughts on how these two compare?). Thanks for all the help.

    09gx,

I just negotiated a lease for an AWD SLE-2 with an MSRP of 40K that gave me similar numbers.

I received 1500 in conquest cash for competitive lessees, so that explains some of the difference, but I got a total of 2450 in rebates.

The lease worked out to 800 due and 365/month.
    for 39 months/12k per year

I will check the paperwork after work and post the details, if that helps.

I don't know the bank. The amount that's due is just the one I listed, either 849 or 1495. Tax and title is included in the minimum due amount.

.00045 and 61% are the GM Financial numbers for the Acadia SLE for 39/10. Using the supplied MSRP and net cap cost, I get a pre-tax payment of $319.09, so very close to the quote you received.

Looking at '15 Acadia Denali fully loaded.

    MSRP of 51,435
    Sale Price of 48,928.60
    56% residual
    .00045 mf

I confirm the .00045 MF and 56% residual for 39/15. Only way to lower the payment is to either negotiate a lower selling price or figure out how to reduce or remove the negative equity. Every $1000 of negative equity adds about $26/mo to a 39 month lease.

I have an incentive card that was mailed from GMC for a corporate program incentive for $1,500 cash allowance and up to 4 months of lease payments for up to $3,000.

I understand there is also a lease incentive for US Bank leasees of $3,000 that expires today. Does anyone happen to know if these two incentives are stackable? I can't find anywhere if these can be combined.

I think they should be, but only the dealer will know for sure.

One is a factory to customer incentive (the card from GMC) while the other is a factory to dealer incentive (US Bank lease cash) - the dealer can choose to pass along that incentive, in whole or in part, to the consumer.

As a follow up, the dealership said they could not be combined. They didn't give any clarification as to if that was not allowed by GM Financial or by the dealership, but will not honor both.

If one is an incentive from GM Financial, and the other an incentive from US Bank, I can see why they cannot be combined.

They are both GM Financial. One was from the dealership and the other one was a mailer I received.

GM Financial had a program for leases currently through US Bank to get them out of the US Bank lease and into a new GM Financial lease. The dealership called to offer the $3,000 incentive to get out of the US Bank lease. GM Financial also sent me a mailer that had an offer of up to 4 months of payments to get out of a lease plus $1,500 cash allowance. Those two offers ended up not being able to be combined.

Do you know what the money factor and residual are this month? Looking for an SLE-2 either AWD or not - would that change the residual? 36 or 39 month lease @ 15,000 miles per year. Is there any lease cash or lease incentives for this month? Thanks!

Got it - thanks. We wouldn't be informed of any special offers or programs like that.

    .00045 and 60% for 36/15. Subtract 2% for 39 months. $150 lease cash.
