Looking to lease a 2015 GX460 with premium package. What is a good negotiated price? What is the MF and Residual for 12k and 15k miles on a 36 month lease? Is it better to pay the taxes up front or roll into payments?

Hi,
I was quoted $3500 off MSRP of a 2015 GX 460 premium. You should probably start at invoice. The MSRP was $56183. The MF is .00170. I do not know the residual for 12k or 15k but was quoted 58% for 10K. Since I live in GA, the taxes can either be paid upfront or rolled into the payments. Also in GA, you have to pay the entire tax on the vehicle. So for this particular vehicle, it was nearly $100 more per month for the sales tax.

I made a mistake, the MF is .00140 NOT .00170.

Thank you. Got the following lease quote on 2015 base with Nav:
-$2.100 down: covers dealer fees, motor vehicle and first month
-39 month lease
-$679 monthly payment
Will get more details tomorrow.

Does it appear like a good deal or should this apply to a premium package or should I wait until December?

I don't know that waiting would help much.. The GX460 is very popular, and historically, Lexus hasn't put any incentives on it.. If you like the deal and the car, no reason to wait.

what is MSRP, selling price, residual and MF they quoted you ? The base MF is .00070. Premium and Luxury are .00140.

Has the money factor changed and residual changed for a 2015 Base GX? Is it still .00070?
I looking for residuals for 27, 30, 36 months and 10K and 15K miles a year. A dealer by me has a base 2015 GX on sale for $46,880.

30/15 - 59%

36/15 - 54%

Add 3% for 10K per year.

MF still the same - .00070 for base and .00140 for premium / luxury.

Can't say .. I've never been the market for $50K luxury SUVs.

Use the pricing tools at the top of the page to help set a target.

One thing to be aware of ... is this a 'one only at this price' type of ad? Might not be a color you want.

Standard money factor of .00170, 60% residual

.00170 is Lexus' standard money factor. The .00140 was the discounted money factor on the 2014 model.

Thanks! I did not know that. So for calculation purposes for 2015s, I guess we have to use the .00170 and 58% money factor.

current MF and residual on GX460 optioned up to 56K msrp. I read here that MF is .0007 but that was in OCtober, is this still true?

.00155 if it has the Premium Pkg, which I guess the great majority of units have. .00105 if no Premium Package.

We only quote Tier 1+ (top tier).

Tier 1: Add .0001
Tier 2: Add .00045

Lease - 39 months, 15K - $700 month with $2,500 paid at signing (included 1st month) All taxes and fees are included in the costs.

Feel like I good a good deal in New York. After a few miles, I do not like the Bluetooth phone speaker, no tone adjustments, or maybe I am missing something....

I am being quoted for a 15 GX 460 with Premium package. The MSRP is 57,417, being sold the car at 52,293 with a payment of 699mth for a 33 month 12k lease. Question I have is the residual on the car seems high. I'm being quoted a MF of .00155 and a residual of 62%. Are these numbers correct?

I confirm both the .00155 MF and 33/12 residual of 62%.

I show $642.12/mo pre-tax with the MSRP and selling price you've quoted. 9% tax takes the payment to $699.92/mo.

You want a high residual... that results in a lower payment.

57% for 36/15, 54% for 39/15. Looks like the base MF is .00105.

Can't model a payment without knowing the net cap cost - use the pricing tools at the top of the page (make / model / year) to help establish a target.

I am in Nj currently negotiating for a 2015 Lexus gx460 base with an msrp of 53125.

The dealer is quoting me a selling price of 48500, taking 2900 cash from me and giving me a payment of 522/month tax included for 48 months 12k miles per year. I think the doc, mv and other costs were 1400. I forgot to ask the money factor and residual. There isn't a trade in or anything.

Based on the info I have can you determine if this is a good deal?

What is the breakdown of the $2900? Taxes, fees, cap cost reduction?

Lease number on the GX base are 50% and .00105 for 48/12.

Using your MSRP and selling price, I get a pre-tax payment of $535.85. This is with $0 cap cost reduction.

thank you so much for the quick response @Michaell. Yes, the 2900 is used to cover the 1400 (700 doc, 450 DMV, etc..) in fees and the 1500 for taxes (7% in NJ) and cap cost reduction.

I have been reading through the forums and noticed some recommendations for Multiple Security Deposits, is that something that I can use on this deal. Would it help me ?

I am not a big fan if the 4 year lease, but it got my payment where I need, close to 500/month. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I would like to make the deal this week.

I am trying to keep the payments as low as possible. thanks again.

Yes, MSD would allow you to buy down the MF and lower your payment .. and, you get that money back at the end of the lease.

Hi. Can anyone give me some advice. We are looking to replace our 2012 Lexus GX with a 2015 Lexus GX. I found one in Chicago, but, it will be a 4 hour ride round trip. This is for a 2015 Lexus GX Premium with a list price of $67,598. What would be a good lease offer on this for 12,000 miles per year for 36 months? What sort of sales price wood be a good target for the lease to be based on? I see True car around $63.4K, Edmunds suggests $65.6. The dealer is really going to have to work to get me down there & I don't want to get yanked around. Any suggestions. I am in the Milwaukee area and my dealers have no stock in the colors that we would like. I looked at a Land Rover, but, even the quality on the brand new models look suspect and the prices are stratospheric. I see Lexus promoting ridiculous cheap lease numbers on the base GX. I know that will not happen with the loaded version.
