Looking to compare July money factor & residual rates of 2015 vs 2016 A5 Cab with 10k/36 months and if there is one for 10k/42 months. Thanks!

Premium Plus. But might consider Prestige of rates are better.

Hi I'm new. I got a deal from dealer for a A5 premium plus with all the packages. Lease is 36 months 10000 miles. It gives me $663.94 per month with $3000 down. Is it a good deal? Thx

What is the MSRP and selling price? What is the breakdown of the $3000?

Lease numbers are .00141 and 58% for 36/10.

Also, what state is this and what is the tax rate?

Hi Michaell. Thanks for replying. MSRP is $50885. isn't selling price the same as MSRP? The capitalized cost is $47831.90 if this is what you mean. Also I don't know how the down payment breaks down but from my understanding it should be from DMV fees of $441, advance payment $663.94, bank doc fee $695 and maybe cap reduction $955.56?

This is in LA which is 9% tax. The money factor is 0.00166 which is higher than the number you gave. Residual value is $29513.30. I don't know which number to divide into to get the residual percentage so here is the actual number. Thanks a lot!

If I use $46,786 as the net cap cost ($47,832 - $956), then the payment I calculate comes to $643/mo with 9% tax. So, the marked up MF is adding about $20 to your monthly payment.

Experts- I am turing in my 2012 Audi A6 lease on Monday and have been talking to local dealer (Cincinnati OH) about the new 2016 A5 Cabriolet Premium Plus w/ Technology Package. The sticker price (with $925 Destination charge) is $55,130.

What sort of deals are out there to reduce this price? What's a reasonable Capitalized cost to seek? I plan to lease this one as well. I'd like to do the same 42 month/ 12k lease deal. What sort of money factor should I expect? How about residual value? Wife has an Audi Q5 so I hope there is some sort of multi car promo??? Thanks everyone...

42/12 lease numbers for the 2016 A5 Cab Prem Plus are .00173 and 52%.

Use the pricing tools at the top of the page (make / model / year) to get the TMV prices from Edmunds.

Use the "Car Research" tab to link to current incentives.

At a CAP cost of $40K, the payment would be $456/mo.+tax for 36/12.

We don't really track selling prices. Generally, 6% off MSRP for a new Audi is the going rate, minus any possible incentives.

  • Looking for guidance on leasing a 2016 A5 Premium Coupe.
    - Is it better to do 36/10 or 24/10 for lease terms to achieve better payment - what would residuals be on 24/10, (believe 36/10 is 60%)?
    - Confirm - buy rate for February is .00060, correct?
    - Sale price of vehicle - not including the $1K rebate for competitor lease, what is a great discount off of MSRP? To help with negotiations, any thoughts on how dealers are able to go below factory invoice price and are there any additional "hidden" incentives going on for dealers that consumers should know about to help in discussions when dealers say they are taking a hit going below factory invoice?
    - IL sales tax 7.25, no money down, 36/10 terms or 24/10 terms - option 1: 43,650 MSRP, not giving me sale price of vehicle, but are saying mo payments are $457 with 36/10 terms, thoughts?

Residuals are 60%/67%. 36 months will be much cheaper.
    Buy rate is .00060 MF

A good deal on an Audi is usually 6% off, before subtracting incentives. We don't know of any dealer incentives on this model.

That payment would work out to a CAP cost of about $40,000, without tax.
