Thank you for your help on this site - got a great deal a few years ago as a result and am back at it.
This is what is being offered to me: WA state 2016 4R Ltd - MF .0019 and 64.375% Residual 15k miles - 36 mos. Question is on the purchase: Invoice + 900 Dest + 900 TDA + 650 ACQ (a few minor options at just over invoice). Good deal? Seems like it but I'm not confident. Haven't signed yet.

Residuals for SE Toyota may use the old Toyota model of only applying the residual % to the base MSRP, and not any options.

I agree with the residual values, but I think the base MF is .00190

Thanks for all your help... have one additional question... do you know which fees I should be charged on the 2016 4runner Premium (Texas)? Sales guy is quoting me $1700 worth of fees, that are outside the normal TT&L (which should be around $2600)... seems excessive but not sure if it's a toyota standard or not

just got my wife a cadillac lease on a 2016 SRX, and the "extra fees" were around $925 (destination fee, document fee, an add-on for vehicle protection, and that's about it)

The money factor is probably close, but the residual will probably be different in North Carolina, as that is an SET distributorship state.

Thank you both for the quick responses. Is $4100 a reasonable discount to target on a new 2016 4runner SR5 4WD with msrp of 38,100? Such that the sales price is 34,000 on a lease before adding destination fees or any other non negotiable fees Toyota imposes. I have overheard Toyota sales people chatting and one said 5k is pretty much the biggest discount you can hope to get on any brand new Toyota product. Internet searches for Toyota 5,000 off msrp seem to confirm this but I wanted to run it by the experts

Looks like a pretty good discount. Toyota doesn't impose a destination charge on the consumer. It's on the MSRP and invoice, but your negotiated price should include it. If they are breaking it out, it's just a disingenuous way to make your price look lower.

Can you please provide MF and residual for Northern California for the Limited. I was sent quote for 0.002 and 64% for 12,000? Just want to make sure that's accurate. Do they have a 10,000 mile lease? Also how much off MSRP should I shoot for. Thanks. Used this form for past two leases and has been super helpful.

That sounds right .... we've always assumed the base MF is .00190 but there could be regional differences.

Dealer cannot modify the residual value.

If a 10K lease is available, add 1% to the residual.

With your prices, before factoring in the trade amount or tax, I get a payment of $452/mo.

Use the trade equity for the upfront costs (dealer fee, DMV costs, first payment, bank fee), then get the rest back as a check from the dealer.

Assuming tax is 9%, the payment is still only $493/mo.

To answer your question, you don't have to put any money down.
