2016 Dodge Durango Lease Questions

"down payment" is not the same as "money due at signing" for a lease - there is the first payment, acquisition fee, dealer fee and DMV costs usually due at signing. You can choose to add most of those into the cap cost.

Hello everyone. Brand new to leasing, so I was beyond thrilled to find this forum. Looking at a 2016 2WD Citdel with Technology Package. Have gotten two quotes so far on a 24 month, 12,000 mile/yr, but they are very different. One at $627/month and one at $714. Anyone know what MF and residual I should use when calculating what the payment should be? Sorry forgot to put Tampa, FL.

If it's RWD, then .00001 MF and 51% residual.

That doesn't sound cheap to me, either.
Would need the adjusted CAP cost to pin the payment down, but with a low residual and not much of a discount, it's not going to be cheap, either way. You'd need a big discount, and even then, I'm not sure I would consider it a bang for the buck.

Thanks. I just ran the numbers with $38980 cap cost, $2000 down payment, 51% residual and .00001MF and I am getting $480/month +tax. That seems more reasonable to me

For anyone that has gotten a Durango lease payment to the $400's how did you do it.  

I've been targeting an msrp at the most of 43k Durango  limited.   I've been trying to say the payment I want $485 for example but the dealers come back with a $600-700 lease payment.  What am I missing that you guys are doing to get these reasoble leases.  It doesn't look like people are putting a ton of money down?

You don't want to lease this for 48 months - the numbers are horrible: .00213 and 44%

42/12 numbers are better - .00001 and 49%

What is the MSRP and adjusted cap cost?

What does the $2000 at signing cover?

Msrp is 33,8. nothing finalized and nothing adjusted. it was a rough estimate before even doing credit and everything else. It was a general lease price information. When I go in to see Ill try to negotiate some kind of deal. The best rate is 42/12?

thanks guys. i would of walked into a lease blind. what if dealer wont do 42 ir anything lower? we were aiming for 36.
If dealer wont budge from msrp should I walk away? Or if he does whats a good deduction off msrp?

You control the discussion - lease term, prices, etc.

If you don't like what you are hearing, walk away. Lots of Dodge dealers out there - it only takes one to meet your terms.

I'm cross shopping the Nissan Pathfinder S 4x4 with the Durango SXT AWD and would like to know the current residual, MF and incentives for a 36/12K (or 39mos. if there's any advantage) in Cleveland, Ohio.

Also, I see that a lot of FCA leases are done through 3rd party banks. Is there a good way to compare the competing lease options?

We don't have the Chrysler lease numbers this month.

And we've never seen the third party numbers to compare against. Third party leases often come with large rebates to help the numbers.

48 month terms are not good for Chrysler.
