Thanks. Detroit area dealers are allowing Employee discount pricing, and including a 24mo/12k term with it. However, the dealers I've spoken to so far are not willing to provide this information. I like walking in with a loaded gun, ifyaknowwhatimean.

Sorry, if a 24 month program is available, it's a local program and we don't have any numbers for it.
For Detroit Area residents the are running the employee pricing. Just leased a Genesis AWD with Signature and Tech Package (approx MSRP $49,800) on a 3 yr / 30K lease on sign and drive ($0) for $389.00 (tax included).
Hello, I have a tuff question. How lease cash works? I have a few dealers near me offering sales prices on various 2016 Genesis and I’m going to put one example: 2016 3.8 RWD Genesis with Tech package: MSRP: $47,450 Sale Price at the website: $44,570 Should dealer have to apply lease cash of $3,500 as Cap Cost Reduction? Then Cap Cost should be: $41,250 + all other fees like acquisition, dealer documents, etc right? Thanks in advance for your response.

Yes, the lease cash can be used to either lower the cap cost or to offset the up front costs of the lease (bank fee, first payment, dealer fee, etc.).
Just leased a 2016 base RWD Genesis with everything rolled in and the dealer cutting me a check for the final 3 payments on my existing Genesis lease ($1,143):

Do you have any information on the "certificates" so I can use them on my deal? Are they the AAA, Military, College Grad and Uber driver incentives? How did you provide proof for all of those things? Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
As I understand it, dealers can earn up to five $500 "certificates" per Genesis sold the prior month to be divvied up as they see fit. But, so long as I was getting the deal I wanted, I really didn't push for details. Good luck.
Just leased last Thursday 2016 Genesis 3.8 RWD Signature Package 12,000 mile $3,000 OTD / Little less than $300.00 for monthly payment (include OC@California Tax)
I got lot of technical tips from this Forum. Thank You~
So, this assessment may be loaded with extraneous information, but it was my situation and so I thought I'd share it. I had a 2013 Genesis 3.8 Signature package with 18K miles and moderate hail damage. I saw an ad at a metro Denver Hyundai dealership for a base model 2016 Genesis 3.8 AWD ($42K MSRP) leasing at $294/mo + tax, no down, only first month's payment due. [Adding 8% tax that's about $318/mo, 10K per year, a steal.] I wanted a signature package ($46.5K MSRP) and figured that would be about $50/mo more [or about $344 plus tax = $371.50] all other things being relatively equal. Several prior inquiries and research into the value of my 2013 Genny indicated that I was about $21-22K upside down! (A long story.) And that was having the hail fixed before I traded. So, I was trepidacious at best.
This dealership, from whom I had purchased the 2013 a couple of years ago (new, but having sat on the lot for a year), didn't blink an eye at the hail, and started to work on a lease. After some back and forth, I agreed upon $999/mo including tax, no down, only first month's due, 36 months, 10K. I figured with the hail damage I was at least $22,500 upside down. Divided by 36 months, that alone is $625/mo, which leaves lease payment at $374.
Of course the lease agreement numbers are all over the map and can hardly be deciphered in order to give you readers real numbers. Still, to get a 2016 Genesis 3.8 AWD Signature (Parisian Gray over black) for well under $400/mo including tax is a great deal. I figured there had to have been a $12-13K cap cost reduction involved in this transaction when all was said and done. Plus, having an estimate on my hail damage ($2700), minus my $1000 deductible, I received a check from the insurance company for $1700 to help out!
Why I did this in the first place is a long story for another forum.
Forgot to mention: I, too, was told about "coupons" or dealer certificates that were being used to make my deal happen. I heard "five or six" mentioned but with no further specificity. So, let's say six were used: $3000, $3500 leasing cash, $1000 loyalty...the dealership was already advertising over $7000 off on 3.8 AWDs. That, along with the excellent information provided by Michaell, should give us a clue as to what Hyundai dealerships are able to do on these magnificent cars. They're buttering us up for the Genesis brand separation! Fine by me.

On the surface, I'd say yes.
How much total out of pocket was there at signing?

Holy cow.
Better than a good deal, if there was $0 out of pocket, and everything was rolled into the payment.

Updated on my deal. Uber Driver Discount doesn't apply to lease so my payment is $475. Still very happy with the deal.
