California, I just got a $50,800 msrp Genesis 3.8 RWD Ultimate with a few additional options (cargo, first aid), 12k miles a year, 36 months, 0 down (including first month paid and taxes), $375 a month. Did I get a good deal?
On the surface, I'd say yes.
How much total out of pocket was there at signing?
Zero out of pocket at signing. They paid for my first month, and all fees, registration, etc. were rolled into the $375 a month fee.
Hello, wanting to close the deal on 2016 awd with signature package. 12k/yr, 36 months. With $3000 down gets me $360/month including WA tax. FYI this is a "demo" with 500 miles, not sure if I should bite??

Going to Hyundai on Tuesday. Last day of the month. They have 1 Genesis available. Looking to get it as low as possible or I'll walk. Looking to get payments at $250/month. Taxes and fees up front. Is it possible? Found this deal online.

Nope.
I get $350/mo before tax, assuming this is a base AT with 36 months, 10,000 miles per year.

Wow still that much? This car is tough to lease. $350 for a $26000 car. I got offered $250 for a accord coupe which ended up being $34000. Do you think it's possible to get it to $250? Since I currently lease with them?

You can lease any car for that payment, if you're willing to put down enough money - which we don't recommend.

I meant do you think the dealership would be willing to lower the sell price to get rid of the vehicle? If so, how much would they need to lower it to? Thanks!

To go from $350/mo to $250/mo, the price would have to come down over $3000
I'm a new member to the site and am actually looking at leasing for the first time. I test drove a Genesis 2016 fully loaded and fell in love with the car. I was hoping for someone could help me understand how to determine if a lease is a good deal, can anyone suggest any reading material?
I live in NJ and had a dealer quote me $559 + $4500 down for a Genesis sedan AWD fully loaded. This seems extremely high compared to some other numbers I've read here. What is a realistic lease price for a 2016 fully loaded ($53k msrp) with awd while paying $0 down. Also can anyone recommend a good Hyundai dealer in NJ?

FYI...The $500 "certificates" or "coupons" mentioned in a few of the posts are real. I would suggest mentioning that you know that they exist and push for their use on your deal. I had one dealer tell me they don't exist (sales trick) but I used three on my deal and had to sign each certificate. Not sure how the dealer gets them...may be based on sales volume.
ACQUISITION_FEE - $595.00 DOC_FEE - $169.27 ERT_FEE - $25.00 TITLE_FEE - $95.00 TRANSFER_FEE - $101.00 Down Payment - $0.00 Total Drive Off - $555.25
Monthly Pmt - $556
Any thoughts on value of this offer? It seems aggressive as an initial offer from the dealer. The vehicle will be registered in the city of Chicago which brings in a usage tax of 9% on top of the already included sales tax...
I'd love to get to under $500/month or at least as close to that as I can get. That will probably have to come from an additional discount on the selling price.

Looks like a decent price, given the sales tax in your area.
Hello, wanting to close the deal on 2016 awd with signature package. 12k/yr, 36 months. With $3000 down gets me $360/month including WA tax. FYI this is a "demo" with 500 miles, not sure if I should bite??
Picked up my AWD with signature package 36/10 also in WA state a couple of weeks ago for 341/month and $1261 drive off. This was for a brand new, non demo. You should be able to do better for a demo unit.

Sorry a noob question. I'm trying to understand the $3500 lease cash. Is this additional incentive from dealer? So if msrp is 53k and I negotiate to 47k and if I lease the dealer will put $3,500 as cap cost reduction ?
I didn't get a chance to read or look over the certificate in detail. It may have been called a "coupon".
Each one is $500. Previous posts in this form mentioned the dealer may be getting these based on sales volume in the previous month. If you shop at a high volume dealer they may have these. I mentioned about the certificates while working a deal at another dealership. I was told "Coupons do not exist ! That is a sales pitch. " so when I was negotiating at another dealer on the car I finally bought, I didn't bring them up. I started doubting their existence. As I was cleaning out my old car after my purchase, the sales lady brought me the certificates to sign. I was crawling around in my old car when I signed them and didn't get a chance to really look them over in detail, but they're a $500 rebate from the manufacture to the dealer that is not advertised.
I got a good deal on my car. I knew the dealer invoice and hold back and I was way under on price, but I believe I left some "money on the table" not fully knowing about the existence of the certificates. If I could do it over, I would have pushed for an even lower price.

Thanks again!
Please cash is a factory to dealer incentives. Use it to negotiate your best price. Rest assured, any offer from the dealer will probably already include it.

Thanks for quick reply.
Can you please check if this is a good deal or not?
MSRP : $50785
Gross Cap Cost : $45267
Cap Cost Reduction : $3778
Residual :56%
Money Factor : 0.00017
Net Cap Cost : $41,489
Rebate : $5000
Total Due At Signing : $5000
Actual Due At Signing : $0 (Offset by rebate)
Monthly payment : $374.36 Before Tax
Total Payment $404.31 after 8% Orange County, CA Tax
I think SA put the discount as rebate on top of $3500 lease cash so he can keep the net cap cost high.
I see people getting net cap cost at $39.5K - $40K range.
Should I ask SA to put $1500 as cap cost reduction?
Also, if I want to sell the car after lease contract or before contract, is this a good deal?
Can I also add $1000 Uber driver coupon on top?
I was offered the following based on a MF of .00035:
MSRP - $53,285.00
Discount - $4,000.00
Rebate Total - $4,500.00
Lease Price - $44,785.00
Taxes - $4,144.62
ACQUISITION_FEE - $595.00
DOC_FEE - $169.27
ERT_FEE - $25.00
TITLE_FEE - $95.00
TRANSFER_FEE - $101.00
Down Payment - $0.00
Total Drive Off - $555.25
