Last week's Luxury Supercar show in Vancouver. The LaFerrari was a big attraction at the show, and after, when it pulled out onto the street and was waiting for a transport truck back to the dealership. More pictures here of new and older cars: Luxury Supercar Show Vancouver
Yes for sure. I was told that to qualify to purchase one you need to be a serious Ferrari collector, owning several vintage and historic multi million dollar Ferraris.
I am no longer impressed with supercars after seeing the hundreds that Saddam Hussein's son had in his collection - many of which ended up getting destroyed in the mayhem over there. All of which were purchased, of course, with ill-gotten gains. Seeing the Qatari jerks with theirs only adds to my disdain. Until I am convinced otherwise, I will assume that anyone who has one is a Bad Person.
You're not far off. IMO, once a certain price point is reached - maybe middle-upper 100s at the most, the amount of "good" people buying them (at least when new) becomes a small minority.
Going to have a nice grouping of sightings coming up in the next few weeks with the Big Hershey Auto Show getting ready to start. You never know what till show up. Mostly older models, but every now and then a new one sneaks in.
Saw 3 6er Gran Coupes - one an M6, 3 new style Bentleys, 1 convertible 2 sedans (maybe the same car), and a new style Range Rover which had a "driver" with his phone to his ear - perfect time for progressive traffic fines. That's my hood.
parked at a restaurant, a new Miata (red of course, not even sure if any other colors are out yet). I really like the looks of this style. Can't wait to find out if I fit in it now!

That was just me, doing a few test drives...

Saw a GLE this afternoon, first one. It has presence - not pretty, but not as obnoxious as an X6. Will probably attract some of the same beloved demographic.
If the former, I saw one about 3 months ago at the local MB store. Based on the MFR plates, I'm guessing it was the regional rep. IMHO, it is a very homely vehicle answering a question that BMW answered but nobody asked.
Definitely a bit homely, and not a "coupe" no matter the soulless marketing spin. Unfortunately, as I see X6s and X4s regularly, someone did ask the question. There's definitely a demographic for them.
Just saw at the local purveyor of MB vehicles, two MB Metrises (Metrrii?). One was a panel sided white work van, the other a blue 7 passenger version.. The latter was adorned with MB Tex. No Monroney stickers.
I think Hankook is used on a few other MBs too. Maybe they have a good model, or it is just another way for some suits to get a big bonus.
Start/stop on my E is pretty seamless, but it is annoying when creeping in Seattle traffic, or using a multi point turn when backing into a parking spot. Luckily, it is disabled with a simple push of a button.
Today spotted a pretty blue M235 and a GLA45 with the big dorky spoiler and a "driver" with a phone to his ear.
Volvo doesn't seem to have start/stop figured out very well yet.
Can it be switched off? I haven't driven the newer version but I absolutely loved the 3.0T-6 with the Polestar tune. That sucker was silly quick.
Over the weekend I saw another GLE Coupe, an X4 and a couple of X6's . It was just that kind of sighting weekend for those. I definitely don't dislike the segment, in fact the GLE in AMG guise is pretty sweet IMO.
What is the sports car that looks like a camaro? I have seen it and there is no marking on it to even give you an idea of what it is. It looks like the new Chevy camaro but my dad doesn't agree with me. Maybe someone else knows.
I haven't seen the new challenger yet so cudnt say. It was red and had a black gas cover. I looked up the camaro and that's what it looked like. I'll look at the challenger.
Nope. Ok. Let me get myself straight. It was the shape of a MUSTANG, had the front of a DODGE, but it looked like a camaro. Bigger than the corvette. Ok. So it almost looked like a cross between Ford, dodge, Chevy. Like I said there was no marking to distinguish it from other sports car. It was a sports car. I have only seen one other one besides that one.
New small Porsche CUV while I was out walking. Somehow, they got it to sound like it has a flat 6. It doesn't right? Yesterday driving by the back lot of a car dealer a Super Duty 4x4 on 4 vertical 4x4's (someone stole the wheels).

Odie, I think you answered my question! Just looked at the back end of it and I think that was what it was! Thanks! So what wud you say the make and model is?

Better driven than the one belonging to the Quatari garbage in Beverly Hills anyway, I'm sure.

Also a new GLE Coupe over the weekend. What a beast.

I was surprised both were wearing Hankook tires.
