As a side note, the local Mitsu dealer used to be a Mitsu / Subaru dealer, and 2 or 3 years ago they sold the Subaru franchise to focus on Mitsubishi. I think that was probably about as good a move as a local Hyundai / Isuzu dealer who 5 years ago sold the Hyundai franchise. They're not around anymore...

They've also got a pretty good commerical going for it too. It faces Nissan's small pickup and they stare each other down and then start moving towards each other. The Nissan backs down (of course) and starts to lose it's fluid uh...coolant (you get the implication).

Definitely looks different than an Explorer, I had to get up close to read the badge because it looked like something totally new.
guss, the Lincoln Aviator has been out since 2003!!! I can't believe you haven't seen one yet, lol!
Nice...
Then I followed an RX400H into my parking garage, someone must have just bought it. But I parked on a different floor so I didn't see who it was.
Later I saw an Aston Martin Vantage. Sweeeet!

They look a bit bloated, I dunno. And those overhangs are sooo long.

I guess I need to change neighborhoods. I see way too many Explorers.
I saw a Fusion on the road. It had a dealer tag so it must have been a test drive. Front end looks a little like a CTS.

I just saw a new Commander with dealer plates on it. It should look as good as a Cherokee Classic, instead it looks like an old Grand Wagoneer with the woody siding removed.
Not just ugly but drab.

I'd take and Expedition any day over that.

Very sterile and plain looking with lots of bare unadorned sheetmetal.

Overall a nice design for a small car. It looks like it has no trunk space from the outside, but when you open it it is very large. Interior seemed to be a huge upgrade. ABS and Side curtain airbags standard. This one had 4 wheel disk brakes and aluminum wheels. Nice for bargain basement transportation.
Also saw an Infiniti M.

Also a previous gen. BMW M5 in red.
Also two Lexus GS300s, one is black other in white. Two Sonatas as well, in the same color. They've started to become quite common.
Two Audi A6s as well, one in black other in silver. Four 300Cs, in blue, grey, silver, and black.
Finally, a yellow Hummer H2 SUT.
I saw 4 or 5 Elise yesterday, and an 06 Civic coupe.
The SUT...funny how you can play with the letters to create a more appropriate name
Are these for sale already?
2020 Acura RDX tech SH-AWD, 2023 Maverick hybrid Lariat luxury package.
But they had 2 Torrents pretty loaded up that looked pretty nice. Did not look too much like the Equinox as I thought it would. They have a much more aggressive grille.
And then 3 Grand Vitaras, in black, silver and reddish-orange. They seem to be gaining in popularity and I can see why.
Not bad looking, kinda resembles a slightly larger Sonata. Doesn't look like what you would expect from a Hyundai though if you didn't see the badge.

And later I saw a black Aston Martin DB7, the new models look way better.
Weird, huh?

Sure there is, Red's practically a cliche on 'em, like silver on Porsches.
FLY Yellow is also a "signature color" for Ferraris and has been used on numerous racing Ferraris. FLY=Ferrari light yellow.
Black, Silver and Titanium look great on F-cars, in fact a Silver '63 250 Berlinetta Lusso
is the best looking car I've ever seen, I still remember it after 41 years!.

Ther are a few R-Classes around now and I think it looks really slick. If you have need of a minivan but want something upscale this is your new option. Nice with a roof rack as well, seems like it's not to exravagantly priced with the V-6 instead of the 500.
I have not seen any of the new family haulers in NYC, No HHRs, no Sonatas, No refreshed accords, no Impalas. I think the fact is in Manhattan if you can afford a car at all ($400/month for a garage minimum) you can afford a really nice car.
The audi A8 W12 has become more popular amongst the Park Ave. power broker set. I think b/c it was rated tops by a chaufeur professional association recently
I am getting pretty bored with Bentley CGTs, when is the flying spur coming out?
Then I saw a new Impala. They are becoming common now. I've also seen 2 of the new-style Malibus, with the face-lifted front end. They look better.

Bored w Bentley's, geez. I've seen fleeting glimpses of two. They look great too. :shades:

I have seen several silver 360 Modenas, and blue Maranellos. None of those look as good as the red version.
With respect to exotic cars, it seems that they seem best looking in a certain color. Example, Porsche in silver, Lamborghini in yellow/orange, Ferrari in red, Aston Martin in greyish/green.......
I was just making the point that almost everyone I see is red and they do look great in red. Although if you gave me one in black , I would take it.

first new civic last night as well, can't wait for the si, may even look into getting one
