    Are you sure the MSRP isn't $44,885? Otherwise, the math doesn't work for the residual amount quoted.

    What is the adjusted CAP cost? I'd check on that residual. 58% is the residual for 36/12.

    You want to get the adjusted capitalized cost from the dealer - this would be the selling price plus any taxes or fees you are not paying up front.

    adjusted cap cost is $41,500.00, tax comes to $1,282.17, and there is an acquisition fee of $595 and our documentary fee is $299.

    All the fees you listed are mandatory, though you can try to get a lower price to offset the doc fee.

    Just left dealer

    SantaFe SE with Premium AWD
    MSRP 37615
    MF .00101
    Sale Price: $34,514
    Residual 59%
    Fees $595
    36 month/10,000

    Only out of pocket is 1st month and DMV fees.
    We were quoted $350 per month

    He mentioned $3500 lease cash.  Other dealer says it's BS.
    We will be giving back a hyundai lease and they say they will make money
    On reselling it so they gave us more off on the New car.  Is this true? Equity in the old lease car?

    Pretty much the same car at another dealer comes in at $428 per month.

    I'm trying to calculate the "total" cost of the lease if I were to lease and purchase after lease
    Residual is based off the MSRP - bottom line number on the window sticker.

    If your intention is to keep it for a number of years, it's best to buy outright. There are additional costs with a lease you don't have when you purchase.

    Most local dealerships in NY metro area do not carry a Santa Fe 2.0T Ultimate without the Tech Package (see previous request above). Do the figures change for SF Sport 2.0T Ultimate + Tech package AWD 36/12 in NY? Thanks again.
