    So far I've visited two dealerships in my quest to lease a SF sport Ultimate tech package 2.0T. First dealership quoted me MSRP 39,950 Net cap at 38,161.22. Resi 53% MF .00056. That yields a monthly of 555.59 NY sales tax included in payment. Not what I am looking for. Second dealership wouldn't even supply me with net cap figures. I left with 499/mo. on the table not knowing any of the figures they were using. This one was a lot of game playing trying to educate me on taking into account of inflation etc... Typically with the specs that I want the MSRP is 40,695. Dealerships have minor additions (ex: carpeted floor mats) included in the MSRP. No Big deal. My goal is to get a net cap of 36,000 yielding a monthly payment of 460-475 depending on the MSRP. Am I overshooting? Is my ideal net cap figure of 36k unrealistic? Curious to see what others have to say about this. Thanks!

    Ok I just went in and bought a 2017 Santa Fe Sport 2.4L 2WD.

    Here's the numbers.

    36/10
    MSRP - $28,455
    Window tinting etc - $499
    Dealer fee - $699
    Aquisition Fee - $595

    Subtotal = $30,248
    Negative equity on trade = $3,345

    Total = $33,593

    Capitalized cost = $27,500
    Down payment = First month $360

    Monthly payment = $360.14

    Residual on a 36/10 was 52% and I got tier 1 financing (820 score) which they showed as 0.00088

    How did I do? Did I leave much $$$ on the table? Without you guys having November numbers I was going in a bit blind.

    The negative equity adds almost $100 to the payment. How much was due at signing?

    Btw: Residuals on the Santa Fe Sport Ultimate were as follows - 36/10 = 50, 39/10 = 47. I hope the info I shared helped a bit.
