I only see a 1% difference in residual between the two trims. But, given this is SouthEast Toyota, there may be a special program available on the XLE.

NJ lease rates for May for the XLE Premium are now .00001 with 56% on a 3yr/36k mile lease. I ordered a new van last night using those figures. It should arrive (dealer transfer) by Friday.

That might be through a third party bank; the TFS numbers we have show 58% for 36/12 on the XLE FWD.

54% for 36/12; add 1% for 10K.

We don't have the MF for the tri-state region, but other regions show .00001.

That's the "official" bank for SE Toyota. Didn't realize they had their own residual tables.

Yes, SETF is separate from TFS, and is the default finance company for SET Distributorship dealers in FL, AL, GA, SC and NC.

Check the fine print on the residual, though. I think SETF might use the old Toyota residual plan of only residualizing the base amount of the MSRP, not the options.

1) Never put money down on a lease
2) What is the MSRP?
3) You can't negotiate residual, just sale price
4) Yes - this quote is ridiculously high. Never pay more than 1% of MSRP per month on a lease and always do sign and drive leases (absolutely nothing due at signing)

MSRP
Lease term and miles per year
FWD or AWD

We do not recommend putting money down on a lease - that money is at risk if the car is stolen or totaled, and it gives a false sense of the monthly cost.

Residual is fixed. Only thing to negotiate is the selling price.

While the 1% of MSRP is a good goal, it doesn't translate to every make and model.

what are expected dealer and bank fees?  And could you share residual?  What is incentive for dealer to encourage more money down?  My "friend" said .00001 MF expires at end of month, any historical data on MF?

That is true and a lot of advice will tell you that it's OK to pay all of that at signing. I personally have always rolled all of those into the lease and never paid a penny at signing (sign and drive).

I'm currently leasing two vehicles:
2013 Chrysler Town & Country - $36,500 MSRP. Payment before tax = $296/mo
2015 GMC Terrain - $35,500 MSRP. Payment before tax = $143/mo

I simply don't lease a vehicle if I have to pay over 1% of MSRP per month. Obviously you cannot find deals like this on 100% of vehicles and have to hunt of the great deals.
