I guess I will lose my CCBA membership card as I just paid off the Accord on 9//23 and received the title in the mail today! In addition we made the last payment on the Pilot last Saturday. I've owned the Accord 5 yrs as of 9/8, and the Pilot will be 5 yrs in Jan. No new punches on the horizon, though hopeful at least one punch won't be too long from now.

    Congrats!

Although my guess is that if you did a test drive on new TLX you'd really like it.

Old Farmer should pick it up for his fleet. Probably sitting about 15 minutes from him.

He didn’t want to, either, but I let him decide. There would have been no deductible since it would be a liability claim against his policy.

Yeah - the absence of the manual isn't surprising. And no wagon shouldn't be surprising, given the number of "wagon-like" compact SUVs they offer.

The M car manuals are pretty decent, but the manuals in the regular 3ers I drove were not that good. They kind of felt disconnected. I still hate to lose another 3 pedal option- even if it is slower and less economical than the ZF 8HP.

You know, i knew this would be coming soon because I am seeing BMW dealers start to "cheap lease advertise" 340i X-drives instead of the normal 320i xdrive screamer ads.

I was hoping to score another great lease deal on a 6MT A4 or even 6MT 340i but there were none located within a reasonable distance and Audi wasn't nearly as aggressive the second time around as they were the first. Nonetheless I'm extremely happy with the Acura as is the Mrs. so that's always a good thing.

Very cool @tifighter!  There’s a Supercharger about 12 minutes away from my house!  See if you can make it from WA to CT!

He probably could, and easily! I saw a couple of Superchargers on our trip from SLC to Alaska. One was in Twin Falls, Idaho. I really didn't expect to see something like that there, but there it sat, and also there was a Model S being charged. That's my first live sighting of an S. Earlier in the day, I saw my first Model 3, which was sitting in the Nissan dealer's lot where we picked up the NV3500.

@tifighter - I wasn’t aware of the performance model of the Model 3.  Very interesting!  Must be a blast!  And good move pulling the trigger before the tax incentive is phased out - it’s a chunk of change!

Thanks @breld It is definitely the fastest thing I've driven. Even the RWD 3 is a 5.1 sec 0-60 car, so none of them are slow. Funny enough, it seems to be more efficient then our Kia EV, despite having triple the range and over four times the horsepower. A red one would look pretty good in your driveway, I'd think...

There used to be no stations in Iowa or between Louisville and St. Louis. If a Tesla were in my price range, that would’ve been a deal killer for me, since I try to make an annual road trip to Omaha. They seem to have much better coverage now.

Speaking of the T3 learning curve-
We have a pretty small and narrow old garage where opening the doors is a sporty endeavor. So last night I tried the Summon feature to park it. First time you set it up, and let it know how close you want it to get to walls, etc, and it saves the info. So now I can pull up to the garage, get out, and hit the summon command on the app. It then slowly pulls itself into the space, correcting and centering itself. It was un-nerving, but it parked perfectly. So that happened.

That's pretty incredible! Just don't move anything.

I think you could. You just tell it how close you want it to nose in. I didn't tell it anything about the mower on the side and it corrected for that no problem. But it was still terrifying to watch.

that G37 seems way too cheap. I wonder if it just took this long for the carpets to dry out after the hurricane?

If that was by me, and legit (I never really trust anything on CL!), I would buy that on the spot and flip my car.

well, I do that on my cars.

also noticed the ad says 47K, and the ODO actually says 41. so even more of a price discrepancy, assuming it was just a typo.

Everything was replaced a little over 100K miles ago. I bought an upgraded Centerforce Clutch, but the Honda dealer I serviced the car at would only put that in if I agreed to use the OEM Throw out bearing & Pressure plate. This time around, the mechanic got the whole kit from Centerforce.

I had found a brown over brown Eos at my local dealer last year, was the last year they made them, a 2014 maybe, with miles in the 20's with an asking price around $27K plus change. I was smitten as I've always wanted a toy and a drop top/sunroof/hard top was the perfect solution. Unfortunately, the other half was against my doing this even though I had the funds to pay cash if necessary. She thought it a waste to have an extra vehicle where one of mine would have to stay outside all the time. And I didn't want to trade out of my 2015 Golf into a 2014 vehicle with the old dash.
Think if I had taken a test drive, I might've fought more for getting it. A shame really as it was a great color combo and think over time, she would've enjoyed driving it also. Every time I've rented a drop top vehicle, she's always liked them and gotten me to drive it around town with her more than I would have. This Eos and the brown BMW I found at the Honda store are two vehicles I just wish I had never let get away as they were both snapped up within a week of my seeing them.

Price is pretty fair. Might get them down more, though.
I always liked those, but the wife nixed it way back when due to the tight backseat. She'd probably change her tune now.

Saw a new Nissan Kicks in the wild yesterday and like them! The size is 169.1", perfect, and the SR version comes with 17" rims, again...perfect. Read the Car and Driver article online and they seem to like it except that it's a bit slow and noisy getting onto the highway. They also said the braking distance was a bit long. The 10.8 fuel tank seems a bit small as most seem to have 13.2 like my Golf has now. But, they got 37 on their highway spins which makes up a bit for the smallish gas tank. No turbo under the hood but they gave the low end torque high marks. The interior is current Nissan fare, looks just like the new Rogue I drove at work yesterday. They've even worked on the CVT tranny so it feels more like a conventional automatic with shift points. Having a small 1.8 turbo engine in my Golf is preferable to me as it seems to be a quieter engine then say the small Hyundai/Kia ones in the Elantra and Forte. When pushed, they are quite loud and thrashy when trying to merge onto any highway, a sound that I hate. A turbo seems to not sound as bad and gets up to speed quicker, at least in my experience.
