I don’t want a phone too big to fit in my front pocket.

And the infamous Soul was a 2011. I think bought at about 4 years old, taking out a 5 year loan. Definitely worth more private sale. Also out of warranty (the last 5 years are original owner only).

This looks like a very sparsely optioned bench seat F150

So far, I have found Honcker to actually be on the high side mostly. But spec out a 2018 Ram. Last time I did, surprisingly cheap.

Bradd, why spend the money to get another 4 door Infiniti? By the time the lease is done, for less money, would own your car. Is it really enough different to be worth it?

@benjaminh My Volvo is a 2008, so 10ish years old.

@stickguy Thanks for all that research, ironically I've been in Chicago for work and that R line was about 3 miles from where I was staying. I called yesterday planning to go drive it but they had a deposit on it and said it would be gone today.

@28firefighter Thanks for the offer! I'm still waiting for CarMax to call me and find out what the next steps are. Clearly I can't do anything until we have the buyback solidified. So far all I have is the lead service advisor saying they want to buy it back.....

@Mr_Shiftright I've had the same experience with the number that say they're manual but really aren't.

I return to Denver tonight and will go down tomorrow and see what's up. They told me I can pick up the C30 as "it's completely safe to drive" :s but if I'm not comfortable driving it they would put me in a loaner.

Did we post this low-miler C30? Didn't see a sunroof, though. That wouldn't be a deal-killer for me. I think this one is a bit pricey, though.

No power seats either. Big drawback. Seems pricy for a base model.

No. Just checking out the app to see what's out there. I'm happy with my Q40. I owe about $11,500 on it right now, so it should be worth more than I owe on it. If I could find something I like at some unreal lease payment ($0 Cap Cost Reduction, taxes rolled in, 18 - 20K per year) I'd consider it. None of these fit that category.

Posted this over in Cars and Conversation, but thought I would cross-post here:

Most of you will remember that I was pretty sick last summer and nearly died in the ICU at UW. Happy to report that as of today I have been deemed officially cured. I'm able to stop all my medications today.

    A great day indeed.

Tried an iPhone 8 in my pocket. Worked fine. I think the iPhone XS Max is the same size. Still, it's a lot bigger phone than what I would probably be used to. Who knows, this time next year I might look at another phone (given that I don't destroy what I already have).

there is a picture of the california data plate. Lists it as a 2006 SPCN? with a 1962 body. and 1970 350CI motor.

so sounds like a kit car with a nose at least that looks like a Healey.

I have used waze for years that way. I have my phone on the dash to see the screen and all verbal instructions come through the stereo.

This is NOT, however, working in my Alfa. :(

    it isn't? I am shocked.

personal preference I guess. I have no desire to get a mount and have the phone hanging from a vent or stuck on the windshield or dash. Much prefer having the map on the big screen.

Ah, you get used to it. The cues are mostly verbal anyway, if you set your notifications up right. I use the screen only for street names, and, of course, to initially set my route. But answering the phone, or punching in another location--that's a pain on a smart phone stuck on the dash.

yes, a kit car, but really for the money it's not a bad buy. You can't touch a nice Big Healey unless you spend 5X the price.

Ah, the shoulder belt pre-tensioner recall. Apparently it is like an airbag in that it uses an explosive charge to activate it in a collision. Apparently when they fired they could set some insulation in the B-pillar alight. Though I dunno if that would be your biggest concern at that point.
