Our immediate condo is fine, I’m told, but the building has some damage. A tree fell on the roof of the condo across the hall from us, and apparently some downspouts have traveled elsewhere in the wind.

Here is the guy talking about this. So sad

I guess the positive side is that no doubt they were insured, and are worth enough to be repaired - if one can afford rigs like that, they can probably handle it, too.
Now there's a blue interior
Someone enjoyed driving this
Great wheel choice
not forthcoming enough about the fault, gives a flipper vibe, but seldom-seen
Peak Accord
Might be a deal, this is the uncommon slightly smaller displacement 124
Almost like a model kit
What derpy CUVs should be
Conversion
Seldom see them like this, price is a bit optimistic
Rare anymore, with a painful "ding"
Yes, I expect this quality of pics for the price
Final run fintail, with some year-specific details (exterior mirror, sidemarkers, steering column and switchgear, production ended 12/67. Doesn't add value, but unusual(
Fancy Maxima
What did this cost new? Oh Idaho
The '78 Impala has an unfortunate non-factory 2-tone.

I looked at an I30 once. Much like an early Lexus ES, they didn’t hide the Maxima roots well.

I’d also like that Studebaker but without those wheels and the boom box.

All diesel and 4cyl gas fintails were single light/W110 cars, along with the base model 2nd series 6cyl (230, not 230S). The front end of the W110 cars was also slightly shorter. They were the entry level cars.

Cheap
That problem is worrisome
This has been hanging around with varying prices for several weeks. Amazing upholstery
Depends on the amount of rust
One for @uplanderguy
Same here, I think I posted this before, maybe "spring colors"
Hard to find these with low miles, as they have high build and material quality
This might be the same seller, I kind of like this for being a very early car, traditional basic color combo, etc
Cool story but will be hard to get there from here
I think this is the engine Adam doesn't like

That year still has the blow through carb, a real problem.
Hoovie will make enough off a couple videos to cover it, and he can afford to eat the cost anyway.

@bhill2 - mobile, been for sale for eons, I swear they actually increased the price, flipper vibe from unrelated docs being posted
These always have tons of miles, quite a color
I wonder if these will go up like the prior generation
I like the style, but I don't know if the demand is there anymore
Same here, these probably aren't appreciating, but I like the style
Always fairly cheap
This seller is known for high prices and unwillingness to negotiate. This car could eat someone alive, but probably nice to look at and drive
I've seen worse for the money, for those with patience
If the flipper vibe was any stronger it would have grey LVP floor mats and a white shaker glovebox
I could see someone renovating this
High Mileage Vehicle
Nice colors dizzying asking price
Fun paint scheme
No front view, with the detail that matters
Couldn't have less detail, spend money on an ad and leave it at this
Fit for a king, interesting canopy as a mandatory gift

The e320 isn’t a flipper, per say, but an actual dealer. And, per the ad, a “boned” dealer, at that. Guess that means they are in way too deep on their inventory.

I am sure it is easy for one to get boned in a probable slowing market, where they are charging BaT or big city prices in a small market for a niche car (I'd be shocked if it passed 10K on BaT).
I've thought about you and that car, and how a replacement for the old car might not make you happy as it would always be compared with the prior version. But at the same time, you might find its twin.

Then Caddy dreamed up the Eldorado Brougham and said "hold my beer".
And now both are almost like domestic exotics.
You never see these anymore
Nor these
Quite the color, irritating ad copy with the typos and inaccuracies
Cheap fancy fox
Rare fox that's more expensive but maybe not bad, nice interior
Address those needs for that price (and then probably not a quick sale)
The 90s in vehicle form, lose that hood scoop stat
Wonderful ad title, great pics, and the second one of these to pop up locally
Lower price, low barrier for a hobby car
Great color combo, flash for little cash
Admirable preservation for the mileage
Amusing fault to completely hide in photos
Spend 60K+ on a new one or get this
A little dear for its needs
20 years ago it wouldn't have brought this with its needs, but ok
"The Money Pit" in vehicle form, but I suppose its full of unobtanium, and I think that's a MB badge on the trunk

at least it is cheap. Might be able to harvest some parts, or just keep it in the driveway as a conversation piece?

I may have mentioned that my son owned a mid-90's Mustang (3.8L V6, automatic) not long after he graduated high school 15 years ago.
When I was recently in CA, I discovered that he still owns it, and it's parked at his FIL's house. I don't think it's running, and I don't know what's wrong with it.
Wouldn't it be a hoot to swap in a V8, maybe a stick shift, upgrade the suspension a little bit, attend to some minor appearance items, and turn it into a decent runner for not much money.
So, I joined an SN95 forum and am starting to ask questions of the experts there. Wondering if it would be worth $5-10K to pull this off. I wouldn't be looking for the fastest car, just something with a nice V8 burble, maybe a wrap as an affordable way to change the color, slightly larger wheels and tires. Just a fun toy. I'd keep it in the summer, and the son could have it in the winter, when it wouldn't do me any good.

and it probably only makes sense if you have the shop, tools and talent to do the work yourself.
also, there are likely a lot more differences than you would think. stuff like different subframes, suspension pieces, computers, and a bunch of little stuff. I bet you would need a wrecked GT to park next to it and steal all the parts from (a rear end wreck of course!)
but it does sound like a fun retirement project!
