I clearly recall my dad's spark plug gap/feeler gauge tool, that's a task he let me do after a certain age (he always performed tune up maintenance himself, even on later model cars).
Rear view of the oddball fintail wagon conversion barn find from earlier - rear windshield is from a sedan, never seen one like this before. Someone will be happy to restore this project car:
I still have a feeler gauge. That is something I can guarantee I will never need again.
I used to have a feeler gauge that my father used to measure tolerances on steam turbines. There must have been a hundered different thicknesses from a thousandth of an inch up to where you could gap plugs or points.

I adjusted the timing "by ear" via moving the distributor, and took the car on a little drive. The car started fine and ran/drove like nothing weird happened last week, so I guess no damage done. It was a little disconcerting having the car run out of steam at about 20 mph, now I'll get to go down the road of seeing about my distributor apparently not being installed in the correct position (but I guess not impacting functionality). Springtime pic, made a beeline for home once some raindrops appeared:

To be safe and prevent engine damage, you might want your mechanic to check and reset the timing.

Yep it's on the list for when the car eventually goes in maybe later in the spring for its routine service (I don't do oil changes anymore, just not worth the hassle and mess).
I bought some stuff for my 91 Mustang from a vendor that has had lots of promotion from multiple YT channels. A bunch of it is fake. They slap authentic looking stickers on knockoff merchandise. I'll admit NOS stuf is hard to find. I'm just really disappointed.

Have him check on why it went off time in the first place. Moving something else in the area shouldn’t have messed up the timing.

Any buyer protection?
Can he complain to YT or at least make a flaming comment on the video?

After looking around a bit more, maybe the brand was licensed out to an inferior design. I still have to check some things with what is in the car currently. Here's a video about oil filters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8kbR7YlVOM

I don’t get it. Is that generation something special?
I mean, I think even this is high, but for basically the same price, it is far newer, lower miles, and higher spec. http://atcm.co/S2PVDP/2A94BE56.
Gen II. Probably the best CR-V made. And, would still be competitive with new vehicles. I drove one for 6.5 years and 106K miles. I think I spent $1.49 on repairs in that time. (screw for a glovebox latch)
But, not that special, and as noted, this is the LX trim. At least the EX came with a moonroof and alloy wheels.
Totally stupid price. If you look at the auction, it seems a couple of people just had to have it. Not sure why. But, that's how auctions go, sometimes.
The grandmother of one of my school friends had a Chrysler New Yorker. I think it was early 80s, with that boxy body style and upright rear window. Anyhow, I always loved that car, as the seats were so plush, and it had air conditioning! It always felt so wonderfully cool and cozy in there.

My memory of that era New Yorker is a bit different - an airport 'limo', as we pulled away from Dulles in the middle of summer some fuse/breaker went out. No A/C! And no power windows!!
F100 look like a cool driver but closeups are rough and owner may be better off adding the ps and pb to this one. Given current market for old trucks, might this be fair even with the needs?
Interesting Corolla is interesting if a little dear what's with the blue tape on the taillights and looks to have a crinkle on the front passenger fender. It does come from a Toyota home which helps and sunroof has to be rare
04 X5 looks really good Well optioned but sense a poor repaint and curbstoner wording so be careful

I still have a timing light, dwell meter and multiple feeler gauges. Not used in years, but keepers.

Marketplace algorithm sent it to me - this seller seems to be an infrequent curbstoner but his name amuses me
Looks mean
Might be the same seller as car #1 - seems to be a few of these things in my area
Convertibles were said to be a thing of the past, then suddenly they reappeared
Omnirizon Ute
Stude project
Leopard
I like the car and color but the rust scares me a bit, would be fair without it

There is no key. Starts with a screw driver.
Has to be a scam ad, odd as those usually don't show local plates, but this looks far too nice for the money and the verbiage is weird
The Mark VI looks pretty nice to be honest.
I’ve never seen a Signature Series (a much bigger option pack in those days versus later years) in that color combo. Almost all were Burgundy over red

But I am working on a fast paced gigantic project at work, so that's taking up a lot of my time.
Glassy, looks ok but optimistic Idaho flipper vibe, and if you don't think the mileage is what the car says, don't put it in the stats area
Button tufted
Reasonably sure this is a curbstoner, ad copy seems familiar, but nice looking car
Weird scam ad still being posted, but the car is lovely
Neat but wowza price
Turbo
Maybe believable mileage, looks nice, maybe dear
And its bigger brother
Big blue, end of the era
I saw the 3 door version on the road just last week, fun that these still exist as traffic
Vintage classic car
I think price has fallen by 30-40% since listed, now approaching reality
This is pretty cool, cool aesthetic

really like the Bronco II as a period piece, but not a buyer at that price. Nope.

That LTD II could be good for a movie car. Make that money back in 4 or 5 bookings
