Almost, the first "Lincoln Continental Mark" was the 68 Mark III. The First Lincoln Continental was the 1941 Lincoln Continental, unless you count the "Continental" package available on the 1940 Zephyr. This is what lead to the so called "continental" kits we see on so many classic cars.

Lincoln was tryiing to spin Continental off as a seperate division the same way Chrysler did with Imperial, but was even less successful. Instead of admitting an early defeat, Ford began to remerge Lincoln and Continental in '59, and from '61 to '76 all Lincolns models were Continentals.

    Clear as mud right? :confuse:

An AMC Rebel convertible. I will guess '69 or '70.

Don't think it is a machine, although it has the hodd scope. Weren't those all blue and white?

YKC Mille Miglia/Julietta? (not positive on this one, I'm pretty sure it's a YKC kit car though)
  • andys120andys120 Member Posts: 23,670
Hmm, I don't know who YKC is but it's an Aquila Giulietta/Mille Miglia so you're mostly right.

It's obviously patterned after 1930's Alfas, dunno what they use for chassis or power.

    Close enough, '68 Rebel SST.

And your right it does have the same hood as "the Machine" which was only available in '70 and i red, white and blue.

Looks almost like a Nissan Note, but the grill is wrong.
  • andys120andys120 Member Posts: 23,670
Perhaps it's the Renault version of the Note. ;)

Perhaps, but I wouldn't know what that would be, and that looks like a Nissan emblem to me.

I agree, but was a 2 door Passport ever available in the U.S.? I only recall seeing 4 door Passports.

Yep, it's a '55. I thought somebody'd jump in and say it was a Jeep, but nooo.. you had to identify it correctly! ;)

The vehicle that looks like an Isuzu Amigo/Rodeo Sport or Isuzu Mu is actually a Honda Jazz.
  • bumpybumpy Member Posts: 4,425
Honda Jazz it is. Even says so right on the B-pillar. Honda reused the name for a different sort of vehicle.
  • magnettemagnette Member Posts: 4,233
We got this as a Vauxhall Frontera - 2 or 4 door.
  • hudsonthedoghudsonthedog Member Posts: 552
And "Jazz" was a Honda scooter before the Isuzu.

    That's a '54 Hudson Jet.

And here's another shot at #5642, can you see it now?

  • ubbermotorubbermotor Member Posts: 307
And I'm still not seeing it.

    Looks like a Triumph 2000 ca. 1965

    1954 Willys Aero Eagle ?
  • magnettemagnette Member Posts: 4,233
Loads of these were used by the Met. Police in London in the sixties, and the 2.5pi that followed was a capable motorway cruiser, but the Rover 3500 with the ex-Buick V8 was more familiar later...
I always liked the Triumph 2000, I drove one a few times, and they are still quite common, although mostly as hobby cars now.
  • ubbermotorubbermotor Member Posts: 307
    Wow, even the year.
  • andys120andys120 Member Posts: 23,670
    It's a Tr 2000 all right but it's a '63 Mk 1.

    Try another>>

'77 was the year they downsized. The square headlights make it a '75 or '76 and I believe '75 had the grill trim under the headlights, making this a '76. The squarish tail-end would make it an Electra 225?
