It appears to be a '53 Packard, but I've never seen trim like that before. Is it one the those Russian knock-offs?

I'll give it to you since it was probably built in 53 but it's a 1954 Packard Convertable Coupe.

It's a Rover all right but a 1949 Model P4, known as the "Cyclops from the center mounted light.

Let's try this again 53 or 54 Hudson Super Jet. I'd love to have one. When I was a about 6 or 7 years old when I would see one of these I thought that they were English Fords.

Correct a 1950 Mercury Monterey Iowa Blackhawk special edition ( I think this was the Mercury answer to the one that Ford put out with the fancy vinyl roof and the swoopy crome on the sides)

, Yep ,it's a '67 Hino, all right and the resemblance to a Renault isn't accidental. It's a Hino Contessa which was a Renault under the skin (Hino bought a license from them) and the body was by Michelotti which accounts for the resemblance to the Dolomite.">

As for the Hino Contessa, nobody knows much about those. Hino now makes only commercial trucks
