I could definitely be wrong, but don’t think that’s a 58 Ford. Also, I don’t know what it is.

You may be right. I can't get a perfect match in the key parts.

It was an Alfa Romeo GTV 1750.

Let's check out this Texaco station on Sunset Blvd in late 1965 L.A. from the Getty's Ruscha collection:

I'm beginning to think that Rootes group sold more cars in the US than General Motors !

Alpine crossing from the right, and a Buick Riviera which I think must be a 65 model

I am also surprised at the number of Rootes Group vehicles I am seeing in these pictures.

The Riviera is a brand new car at the time of the pic, the new '66 model just introduced in the fall of '65.

Correct. The RHT, aka, the flip top box, was the Skyliner.

It's a post-1965 Riviera,1966-'68. Which has IMO a sleeker look than the '63-'65 cars. Collectors prefer the '63-'65 cars but I'd rather have the 2nd Gen.>

I remember around 1989, my dad came home on his lunch break in a pristine silver on black 70 Riviera. It had been traded in at the local dealer (my dad was friends with a salesman there, I think), and my dad got word of it. I think it was a very low mileage car, and to my young eyes, it appeared as new. My mom nixed it, and I never saw the car again. Not much later, my dad bought the 60 Ford - for that one, he just brought it home, no worry about discussing it when the purchase was already completed B)

when I was in HS I babysat for the people that lived across the street. She was a Mary Kay lady (a fairly high up the chain manager) and actually had a few of the pink MK cars (one I think was some sort of Caddy).'

Anyway, he was a manager (I think used car) at a Caddy dealer in the Bronx, and would drive home different cars every night. A few I really wanted. I used to put the kids to bed and sit in the garage and play with them. A few I remember were a Comet GT (302, 4 speed), a 1970ish El Camino 350 4 speed (disk brakes! I remember that on the brake pedal), and my favorite, a gen 2 Camaro SS 396. Wish I had any one of them now.

when I was in middle school, my older sister had that same FIAT, even that color. I could sit in it, and put my arm out the winder and drag my fingertips on the garage floor.

nice red 1970 Camaro. And is the blue and white PU a Studebaker? Or a Dodge?

Yellow Buick Roadmaster. Must have been parked by a "good driver"

The blue and white pickup appears to be a late '50s Chevrolet Apache Fleetside, perhaps a '59.

Nice early Vega, with the no extra charge rusted out fender. that looks nasty. '67(?) Tempest convertible next to it.

way up top, silver car looks like a Dodge Magnum.

I see a Fiat 850 Spider peeking out from the left of the yellow Buick. The Fiat is Positano Yellow, the same color as my 1971 Fiat 124Spider.

A poster on The Old Motor named Dave claims that the Tempest convertible was his car and he is pictured standing on the driver's side in that photo taken in Michigan around 1976.

Dave posted another comment asking where did that photo come from. Lol! Must be funny to see yourself and your high school ride showing up on the internet 40 - 50 years later. And also wondering "who took that picture...and why?" :open_mouth:

Lots of Fintails and Beetles. The only non-German is the CitroenID/DS in left lane going away. It's behind a DKW (3=6?) w the segmented rear glass.

I came across this old photo. Cars aren't too hard to ID. But look at the parking style. I know
street parking in the city streets around Univ. Cincinnati was tight, but that parking is
    rrrrreally tight.

As to Jeeps, have you seen what they want for a new Wrangler?

Yup. I also think the guy standing at lower right is beside a Fiat 1300/1500.

Chevy was there first, the others pranked the owner by parking close.

    321 Calhoun.

I had to stare at this picture because there was something wrong. Then I realized the cars in the old pic were parked eastbound which would imply McMillan, but the Calhoun street is westbound. So at that time Calhoun was two way. Before my time at Miami to be around UC campus.

Lower left is a Volkswagen 1500/1600 Notchback/Type 3. This trunkback version was not sold in the US. We got the wagon (Squareback) and Fastback versions.
