There exists Peppermint Waffles which have an ingredient of crushed candy canes.

It's pretty hnard to tell exact MY on mostg of those. The 'Stang could bed either a '65 or '66. The Continental anything from '61 to '64. The GTO is possibly the newest car ('67?)

On one of my visits to see my folks in CA, a friend of the family was working on his pilot's license. He invited me up for one of his "lessons". I sat in the back while they did a couple of touch and go's at the airport in Oxnard, then we flew to Big Bear and had lunch at the airport restaurant.

Whatever I ate didn't agree with me, and I got a bit airsick on the flight home (roughly 1.5 hours, IIRC). I slept most of the flight back, but it cured me of ever being concerned on a commercial airliner.

75ish Celica GT. I had this same car in white. Back in about 1989. It was already completely rotted out. The rockers were just gone. But was kinda fun to drive.

I almost miss my old days of cheap crappy cars that came and went.

A friend of mine had one of those Celica's.
He had the door opened and his foot on the ground when someone backed into the open door.
It wrapped around his leg. He was a pretty strong and in shape guy.

Yup, it's a '76 Celica Liftback. Sounds like it was a worse ruster than my '79 Accord (which wasn't "fun to drive"‚)

Those were generally considered a Toyota take on a ‘60s Mustang fastback. They did not last for very long up here in this environment.

Not my pic, so going by what the source claimed. Maybe someone bought it new shortly after introduction to save on gas, hated it, and traded it in?

OK, maybe it was refreshed in '74. We had a '73, bought in August of that year. Wonder if the folks got a discount because it was the end of the year and the dealer wanted to get rid of it?

Peak Chrysler there, 1966 Newport 2-door.

Old Spaghetti Factory is definitely a chain, we even had one here for a few years. They still seem to be around elsewhere.

Spokane still has an old school Old Spaghetti Factory, same location since 1970 I think, it's like going back in time (this city has numerous establishments with that feeling).
