With those horizontal taillights I think that’s a Duster, ‘70-‘71.

I also spy a clamshell wagon in the distance.

The old Arena in Seattle, must be ~1959 - smorgasbord here, a little blurry in zoom but many are identifiable:

The car in front of the 54 Ford looks like an Opel; I want to say a Rekord but it looks more like a Cresta.

Jag E type 3 door, next to what appears to be a Myers Manx dune buggy. Gotta love LA, where else would you see that at a Buick dealer?

light green Riviera in the top picture is a good looking car. Bottom picture, in the back, the rear of a Black Riv.

front, 2 tone mid 70's Camaro. I think it is a Rally Sport trim.

2nd row, 75ish Corolla wagon/hatch (I loved that body style in SR-5 trim). I would take one today if not rusted out.

in the lot at the back, a yellow Ford Courier.

I meant it was the king roof hatch. They also for some reason had a traditional slant back hatch. This one was more like a kammback

The Corolla really was a 'Swiss Army Knife' back then, so many different versions from sporty to practical.

Next to the VW is either a 70-ish Plymouth Barracuda or Dodge Challenger. Late 60s Ford Country Squire
    next to the Vega.

Didn’t a version of the Vega require dropping the engine to change a spark plug? Or was it an urban legend?

Not the Vega, but its platform cousin the Monza. GM, in its infinite wisdom, decided they needed to offer a v-8 in it. Needless to say, they hadn't designed the engine bay for it.

Yep, but it required unbolting one or both engine mounts, jacking up the engine, and going through the wheel well for access, I think.
