Beside the Saab a 64 Galaxie fastback with skis on the roof, not something you see every day.

In the second pic I see 2 Ford Capris.

Between the 1st-gen Cougar (what an upgrade from the newer version nearby!) and the boattail Riv, there is a little red car that looks familiar but which I''m unsure about. A Carina, maybe? If so, one of the few Toyota fails during the early invasion.

I think you're correct. I'd worry about getting a flat!

Right on the money. It's in what's left of their old plant.

Yep, I believe those rear lights are unique to the Carina. Two other Toyotas in the pic too - a Corolla and Corona Mark II.

From “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”, 1987 I believe. Such a Klassy motor inn.

gotta love the salt belt. That poor Cadillac looks like it would break in have going over railroad tracks. At minimum the doors will pop open.

yellow car is an Opel Manta.

LeBaron at lower left. To think, those cars were under 15 years old when this was filmed, and several already pretty much done - they don't make em like they used to.

The Braidwood Inn is a real place, modern view:

I am not sure what's going on here, but there's a lot of it - also not sure if this has been posted before. Zooms fine:

My college roomie owned an MG-A FHC like the one six rows up in mid-picture. It's next to one of 2 Edsels
    visible.

Another one top center with a group of people standing in front of it. Nice MGA coupe center right.

    I see a ‘55-57 T-Bird, and what I think is a ‘58-‘60 Continental.

The 60 Ford with people near it appears to be a Starliner, and I think I see a sliver of a 3rd 60 Ford at lower right, above the Caddy. Imperial to the L of the probable Starliner. Just above center next to a Beetle, a Lark 2 door HT. I also see the Continental.

At almost top center, facing a 60 Pontiac and beside an apparent 59 Ford, maybe a Peugeot 403?

I can’t find the 55/57 T-Bird but there are two Square Birds. I missed one up above.

It’s 3 cars to the left of the ‘60 Ford (Starliner?) with the people standing behind it near the top center.

in Montreal the grey car with the cream flash is an Envoy - the equivalent of the Vauxhall Victor

Adjacent to the entrance to the building there is a gold coloured car which appears to be the Vauxhall Victor as sold through the Pontiac dealerships as I think the trim is different from this Envoy.

The main reason I posted this pic was because I found it odd to see in the very French city of Montreal what I count as 4 British cars (all variations of Vauxhall) and not a single French car.

I kind of figured the car on the right was British and was hoping for someone who know a little about them to identify it. :)

That '62 Chevy is, in my memory, a fairly rare model; a Bel-Air hardtop. Most hardtop buyers popped for the Impala.

It's a 1986 Trabant 601, one of the last. The S on the hood stands for the maker "Sachsenring AG" of Zwickau which today makes components for VW AG.
