I love the look of that library. Looks early 1900s design. The city hall (originally school) in my home town looks similar... without all the pomp.
The building still exists, replaced by another library in the 60s but even when it was fashionable to throw away old buildings, it was spared, now apparently a host to a few businesses:
This one is here in Spokane:
The one out on the coast where my mom lives is an arts and crafts style, not as imposing, rather, a hint of Frank Lloyd Wright or similar.
No one has id'd all of the non-Ford or Chevy cars in this one yet. There's a red/white Mercury coupe behind the '55 Ford exiting the lot. Behind the red '56 Chevy you can make out a green '49-'5 MoPar The light gray car next to it might be a step-down Hudson. I can't ID the blue/white convertible behind the tree but I think it could be a '50 something Packard.

Thanks for that! I pulled up the photo that Wikipedia has on the Conneaut, OH, library, and it actually does look quite similar (particularly to the one in Spokane). I didn't realize that, because it faces away from the street I normally drive on right there, and I see the blander backside when I drive by it. I believe the building is for sale, and has been for a long time, but with 20ish years of neglect, I suspect it is destined for demolition rather than restoration.
Thew blue Mercury convertible is a 1956. The 1955 has a discontinuous side chrome piece, that I've never liked. A school buddie's uncle had obe and he could spin the car around a front wheel on the gravel parking in the barnyard.
The red Mercury is a 1954, I believe.
Do they wholesale live/fresh clams or are they a restaurant?
Restaurant pushes the definition, call it a café. Ivar did have a terrific restaurant called "Ivar's Salmon House". Maybe the best salmon I have ever had. Probably still there even though Ivar likely isn't, since he was already pretty old 50 years ago.

A total of 2,509 Carnegie libraries were built between 1883 and 1929, including some belonging to public and university library systems. 1,689 were built in the United States, 660 in the United Kingdom and Ireland, 125 in Canada, and 25 others in Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Serbia, Belgium, France, the Caribbean, Mauritius, Malaysia, and Fiji.
In Windsor, maybe a 52 Ford parked on the street in the background between a 59 Ford and Falcon. Just above/beside the Beetle, a probably late prewar or early postwar car, possibly an intermediate GM.
I would guess the picture is from 60. The Rambler is a 60 and has been around for long enough to have had its left rear fender replaced. Unless the owner was very unlucky with his shiny new car, of course.

I agree about the blue and white car being a Mercury. It looks like the red one except the colors.

Possible 52/54 Ford between the Rambler and 59 Ford. Falcon, Ford pick up truck, a VW Beetle.
Carnegie built a large number of libraries in the UK too.

Or maybe that’s the (odd) color scheme of the taxi company.

It’s a Chevelle SS (starting with the easy part!). I’ll guess it is a 1970. Can’t really read the side badge but 454?

My favorite was the S/C Rambler with the big arrow pointing toward the hood scope and the word “in”

Red is a 64 Ford Galaxie 500
You mean the American, green with white top? The grey car up front is a ‘64 Polara.
Yes the further back white top one. Looks gray in my phone.
