That version is known as the Aurelia Spider America. Earlier versions did not have the wraparound windshieldwidely used on American cars of the 50s.
I can find no images of a B24 Spider not equipped with a wraparound windshield. That picture is from the official FCA Heritage site and does not discuss the America.
There is sparse info online regarding the America variant and what differentiates it from a regular B24.

Jay’s video about his Lancia, a 1958, is full of more contradictions. He says the Spider such as the one originally pictured here had wraparound windshields, while his which is apparently not a Spider despite not having an integral roof and no wraparound windshield as you noted, is not. He claims it is the America model, in part because it has a full-width front bumper and not the split version as on the red car, a Spider, originally pictured.
Yes, a bug and a maverick. A comet would have 4 taillights. I also see a 72 Torino and downhill I think a Toronado, but that is getting close to being past what can be zoomed
A "friend" of mine had one in '76, brown. After over-imbibing at a party, he used it as a battering ram to smash into the rear of my father's new Saab 99. The entire rear end of the Saab gave its life to save the three passengers. The entire front end of the Capri also appeared to let the drunkard walk away relatively unscathed. No cops in sight (no cell phones, of course). As I was told, his insurance totaled the Capri, his father bought it back. Six months later the now much less than "friend" totaled it again in a single car accident. Saab was repaired, but never the same (water leaked into trunk), it was traded for not sure I remember what...

Carroll Shelby would never sell a car that didn't have Goodyear tires, (he was a distributor).
