Next to dark pickup truck next to light pole at right is a Nash. I can't figure out the year.
Someone already ID'd the Edsel!
The Frazier Kaiser ID--I saw a Frazier at a car show a few years back. I had to do a lot of research to figure out the Kaiser and Frazier connection. Confusing.
EDIT. I think it's a 1949 or 1950 Frazier. It's closer to the 1949 Frazier I found in appearance. The 1950 I found has 3 bumper guards on the rear bumper which is unusual.
I saw some old film in the last week or so - can’t remember what it was exactly, but I have a nagging thought it was something to do with L.A. - where it showed police cars en route to somewhere, and they were late-run Kaisers, which I hadn’t seen in that role before. Maybe they got good deals on them when the company was going bust.

I saw that too but I forget what it was - San Francisco? Kaiser Manhattan police car.
That one's really obscure but I recognized the roundel emblems on the front and wheel covers. Those emblems are those of the Eisenacher Motoren Werke (EMW). Eisenach in eastern Germany was the location of a pre-WWII BMW plant which was taken over by the Soviets in 1945. They sold products of that plant as BMWs until a lawsuit forced them to change the brand to EMW.

From 63 to ??. Last of the great ones. V6 Saw this at the hardware store--a real hardware store. It made my heart go boom boom. The wheels, The color in the bright sun. The V6
I came close to buying a two-year old '20 Impala with I think it was 5,700 miles. I heard about it before it was on the dealer's website, but they sold it before I even got there.
Styling is subjective of course, but I think they're prettier than the Buick that was the same platform.

The Impala was/is nicer than the Buick version and than the Cadillac version. Pricing was nicer when loaded up with all the options that made it nearly the equivalent vehicle to each of its peers according to our saleslady when we were purchasing our 2014 Malibu.
That roofline, with the faux convertible bows, showed up on all the GM full size sport coupes in '63-4. My Mom particularly liked it even though she'd never mess up her hair riding am a 'vert w the top down.

Except for the Impala steering wheel, which was atrocious.

Impala wheel always amused me for its randomness, apparently being cribbed from the W221 S-class, which entered production in late 2005.
Back to Oakridge Centre in Vancouver, early 60s. Not the clearest or largest image, but zooms well enough to pick out several from the diverse assortment:

Mom’s 63 Olds Dynamic 88 Holiday coupe was one of those.

In the second group of cars I see a ‘60 Impala 2-dr hardtop white over blue with something next to it with strange paint issues on the lower body - my initial thought was a Stude but I’m unsure. To the left is a blue CheviacPontiac Parisienne convertible (I think) with the top up.
Period Canadian images interest me for the British material, which was more common there than in the states.
2nd row from bottom, at right, I see a Borgward to the L of a 59 Chevy, then a Stude, then maybe a Ford Prefect (prewar looking car). In the bottom row an Austin A40 Devon between a 53-54 Chevy and a Beetle. At upper left near the building, a Stude GT Hawk - local Stude dealer must have been popular.
The VW Bug on the left looks huge compared to the Fiat parked to the left of it. A custom, lowered Studebaker Hawk parked next to the blue with white top 60 Chevy

I don't see anything newer than the aforementioned '60 Impala. Oldest is the black unit in lower right, next to a Studebaker . It's definitely pre '50s but I can't ID it. Possibly a long roof version of the Traction Avant.
I think the yellow Studebake Hawk near center is 1961. Calling @uplanderguy
I've studied the blue/white roof Pontiac directly above it with the wide chrome strip along the side as far aback as the door. I've looked but can't match it up. Grand Prix? Canadian?

Since I think the photo is from Vancouver, it would be a Pontiac Parisienne, which was a mashup done by GM of Canada. My dad had one when I was a tyke, but a sedan. This is a Canadian convertible version:
I'd say the photo of the Parisienne was taken in the very late 80's/early 90's based on the cars in the lot across the street.
Good eye. With the full body color bumpers on the Topaz in the background combined with a couple of late Fox Mustangs and maybe a new style Econoline in the far background, maybe 1992-93, looks like a Ford dealer lot.
So that Pariessienne 1963 would be the newest car in the bunch, so far...
sda and others who id'ed that Pontiac; I believe that you get to share the prize. I will give the ribbon to imidazol97, who identified it as a 63. It's a little hard to make out, but it has the stacked headlights that debuted that year.

The side trim was the key and searching Canadian Pontiacs I found it. It's a nice appearance for that car.
My interest also was piqued because my aunt back in those days had a Grand Prix, and I was always attracted to those as unobtainable for me--I was 18 or so.
I am curious about the car behind the Pariessienne toward the building. To me it looks to be a Pontiac also.
That is a great photo @fintail put up. It enlarged and it had hundreds of cars of my era of youth where I was car crazy for US cars here in the midwest. I really liked the 1956 Olds near the building's entrance in blue with white trim. I remember cutting those out of newspaper ads and playing with them as a kid.

I like that image too, for its "ordinary parking lot looks like a car show" vibe, and the variety of material.
