Real close! Grille looked a touch different but I'm pretty sure that the rest is correct. It wasn't anything special but i just liked the look of it. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, it's a '66 DeVille. The still is from the episode where Tony finds out his father used to take his sister to the park every Sunday and leave him home.
Looks like a Dodge Aspen S/E to me. At least, it looks like it says "Special Edition" on the C-pillar. IIRC, the top-shelf Volare would've been called "Premier"? Not sure of the year, but I'm gonna guess 1978-79? That shade of forest green seemed pretty popular with Mopar around that timeframe.
It looks like the Opal Kadett, can't recall the year model. I remember as a kid my great grandfather drove. It was brown with tan interior. I can still remember comments from people...like why in the hell did you buy that? Why would you buy a "foreign" car are you nuts! He had it a couple of years until he totaled it in an accident.
What a discerning lady your wife is. Midsomer Murders is set in rural England, where every village seems to have a murder in the vicarage or something....! Re my earlier suggestion for the title of the show, apparently the one I was thinking about was Dalziel and Pascoe.
Well I'm cheating a little by using the background autos to help, but it looks Eastern European/Soviet. Is it a Zil? I'm not familiar enough with their lineup to get any further than that if I'm in the ballpark at all.
Andy... it's amazing where you find all of these cars.. but, the Vega can't be a '73. It doesn't have the energy absorbing bumpers that were mandatory in 1973.
I was going to guess a 1971.

So-so Italian executive car. Also came in sedan and wagon. Relatively attractive as a wagon, boring as a sedan, and a bit awkward as a coupe (one of those larger, non-sporting coupes, like the Rover 800 Coupe)

I was thinking that too, but then I found this 1973 Vega brochure online. I dunno what gov't officials GM paid off or slept with, but somehow it looks like they were able to pass the 1973 Vega off with dainty bumpers.
Aw man, that thing is SHARP!! For the most part, big Mercuries didn't really do much for me for most of the 60's, but I always liked that ~69-72 style with the hidden headlights. I'm gonna guess that one's a '69 Marauder?
1965 Triumph TR4 Pretty good guess, it's actually a 1963 model (nearly identical to a '65 IIRC) but that particular car is the most expensive Triumph ever sold. It sold for the extraordinary price of $97,000 at a spring 2006 auction.
Just why someone would invest $85,000 into a ground-up restoration of such a crude, basic car is a mystery to me. It's an even bigger mystery that the would paint it in the worst color ever offered by Triumph.
The TR-4 was essentially a TR-3A with a sleek Italian (Michelotti) body and roll-up windows and the TR-3 was basically 1930s technology with disc (front) brakes added. I retain a certain bemused affection for these cars having owned a TR-4A but $97K will buy the best XKE ever made or a very good Ferrai Dino Coupe either of which is many times the car a TR-4 was. Guess which I'd rather have :shades:

Likewise the Maserati was labeled an '88 Biturbo Spyder, as I recall they had quite a few name changes on those, weren't later ones labeled Ghiblis?
