The Commodore wagon was the Adventra last time around, but the new one is simply the Commodore Sportwagon. I think the "concept" shown at Sydney was the regular Holden, not the hot-dog HSV.
I saw that particular vehicle at Carlisle two weeks ago. It's a Ranchero-like car-pickup based on the Ford Fairmont coupe and was manufactured by some aftermarket firm. I think that particular example was a 1980 model.
It was based on the Ford Fairmont Futura coupe, and this one was a 1981. Ford outsourced the production of the Ford Durango as a replacement for the Ranchero but reports say that fewer than 250 were built (one report says "a couple dozen," another says 125, yet another says 211). National Coach Works of Los Angeles was the conversion company on this little jem.
Does the question refer to one of the cars in the background (mid 80s Honda Civic Shuttle-white and VW Type 181-Orange) or to the roof visible in foreground (Chrysler Crossfire?)?
Yep, that's the Elite, Colin Chapman's first street legal car the lightest, best handling roadcar of the early 60s and for my money the best looking Lotus ever made.
From left to right - MB W111 fintail (with nice period tires), Peugeot 404, another W111 fintail, Citroen DS, and I think some kind of Ford - maybe a Zephyr.
I know and I was going to go back and edit my post to include that but then I got busy at work.
The Volvo Inline six is very good and very compact.
I would love to see Jag use a version of either the Naturally aspirated 3.2 or a turbo/supercharged 3.0 in a smaller Jag roadster/coupe. I am thinking something just a bit bigger then the Z4.

Probably some HSV specific trim but I don't know which one.

Give the year, make, and model. No cheating.

edit-not a Pacifica, should have rails on edges.
The car is older than 1970.
I edited the picture to show more car and less background.

BMW is about the only company yet still devoted to a good inline six but they have lost their way on lots of other things.
Volvo has a really good one.
Latest Autoweek Buying Guide mentions the BMW's V6 in one of the model reviews - big oops :surprise:

Because Ford of North America hasn't got a clue. :P
