Is that the white on white Maybach that was at SEMA? (If it wasn't at SEMA, it should have been - along with a trunk full of Spray N Wash and Scotchgard).
Does this match the shape for the Torino bumper and fender? The top of the fender edge above the bumper doesn't look like the same shape, to me at least. And the car on the right at the dealership looks like a Camaro greenhouse.
I'm with you on the shape of the F-body greenhouse. The missing crease on the car next might mean it's not a Torino but I'm not so sure all Torinos had that prominent crease shown in the phot of the yellow one. :confuse:
I dunno what was shown @ SEMA but that is a 2008 Maybach 62 Laundulet which Daimler AG thinks will sell to Middle Eastern potentates. I suspect armored 7-series will be more popular with that market.
HUH...looks like a Packard Carib all right, 53 or 54 but I don't recall it had a metal tonneau to hide the top. Is this some custom car?
It's a concept car, the Packard PanAmerican was shown at the 1952 NY Auto Show. It would have cost $19,000 a copy if put into production so they decontented and sold it as the Carribean.

Grade B... Your answers are all correct but some are incomplete:
Targa is spelled wrong, the Jag is a Series II (post 1968) with the larger grill and open headlights. The SL is a 300SL Roadster (1958-62) and the Bentley is likely a Continental Type R, the pre-war convertible is likely a Bentley as well possibly a Speed Six or Blower Bentley.
The slice of blue car could be anything. I'd give you a solid B which is a lot better than Guss gets, I give him a D+ because the red car is in fact Fiat based and does use virtually the same nose as the Dino Spider but it isn't a Dino coupe and wasn't sold as a Fiat despite the Fiat badge that can be seen in the grille.
The main car looks like an OSI, but I didn't think they did a Fiat type nose, so it could be anything from one of the "etceterini" the small Italian firms that work out of sheds building beautiful coupes out of any box of Fiat bits they can find. Other cars; M-B 300SL Porsche 911 Targa - either a 2.4 or 2.7, can't see the badge clearly Porsche 356 Cabriolet - it looks like a late one so I'll guess a 356C Bentley S2 Continental (Park Ward ? ) Aston Martin DB4 Jaguar E-Type, it's a Mark 3, ie the V12 (they did make a very few mk3 sixes, but I've never seen one. The black car is way out of our period, and the bloke is standing exactly in front of the radiator but I think this is a Lagonda from the early 30's as the headlights look too close together for a Bentley somehow. It might be an Alvis.
That leaves the blue thing, and it looks pretty slab-sided. Based on the fact that all the other cars are quite desirable I wonder if it is something like an ISO or a Monteverdi ?
I think it's a 300SL because of the vents on the front wing, and because it looks too large to be a 190. My spelling goes awry too, somehow things don't look wrong until after I've posted them - hence the number of times I have to edit !

I might've give Stickguy a B+ if his spelling was better.
I think any guesses to the identity of the slice of blue car are just a stab in the dark. As to the red coupe, no one has yet identified it. It has to be pretty obscure if Magnette or Fintail didn't get it. Going...going...
I was just looking in my fridge to make a shopping list and marked off that I need some more beer, and what do you know....I drink MORETTI, an Italian beer, and I know they did a lot of Fiat work, so that's my guess. I think a friend of mine had a Moretti when I was in the Army but that was I believe Fiat 850 based.
Not Italian and not showing up for me, unless I go to the link, and even that isn't working in IE. Seems ok in Firefox. (ok, your editing worked fine, but I liked the color on the other one better ).
"M" for Mercury. Looks like a Turnpike Cruiser. In Pink and Black, a very daring color combo in the Midwest in those years. And those were the 1957 years. Is it a Monterey model?
The writeup I saw had this (the Turnpike Cruiser) as a high-end model, all with quad headlights. In '58 it was demoted to a trim level. The '57 had lots of interesting features, like memory power seats and the ventilation you can see at the top of the windshield (tended to leak, though).
No offense Shifty but Moretti is awful beer IMO, the Italians should stick to wine and the Germans should stick to beer.
Moretti did make some nice cars, most were Fiat-based. The car shown was sold as a Moretti 1600GS Sportiva or a Fiat 125 GS Special, it was 125-based as you can imagine. My previous statement that the car wasn't sold as a Fiat is..uh..inoperative.
If you look closely, the red coupe has both Fiat badging in the grille and a Moretti badge below the side vents. :confuse:
Moretti used the nose and/or front fender styling of the Dino Spider on several different models of the era.
An American calling some other country's beer "awful"? Well I never!
Moretti is a very light beer, so some find it wimpy that's true. I like the taste, but it's not the best beer by any means. Beats that yuppie swill though.
That's a new one on me but it's probably related to the Citroen Mehari shown. The Mehari looks like a French VW Thing but unlike the Thing it has real off-road capability, IIRC there is a military version.
These are being ignored, so I will say that they are the all-new 2008 Subaru Imprezas. Judging by the wheels and hood scoop, the silver one is an STi, (or WRX). The black one, with lesser wheels must then be a WRX, (or 2.5i)
I hope that they have finally settled on a front facia "look". It seems they were changing it every year for about 4 years.

I can spell BTW, I just can't type, and am too lazy to actually spell check this stuff.
For the SL, can you tell from that angle if it is a 190 or a 300?
