Is "Bimini" the actual name for that color of blue? It looks similar to a blue that Mopar offered back then that I've just heard referred to as "B5 Blue". I guess B5 is the ordering code. I wonder if the "B" was supposed to be a reference to "Bimini"?
Yep, it's a '66 Chevy II Nova/327, they were great sleepers for the era, capable of blowing off the name musclecars.
I put a question mark after it cuz I'm not sure what the color name is. Corvettes used to come in a Bimini Blue that's very similar IIRC, (my favorite color for Stingrays) but there was also a Nassau Blue which I think was more of a teal.
Heh, the hubcaps are supposed to tell me it's a Rambler or something?
Someone figure this one out so I can move on. :shades:
My family had a ~67 ish Falcon 2 door, and I never can find an image of it that matches my mental image. After getting it stuck on the train tracks, you'd think I'd never forget what it looks like (and I was able to jack it up and get it off the rails before the next freight came through).
Yep, it's a 1960 Ford Frontenac, as denoted by the little red maple leaves on the hubcaps. Only made for one year due to the wackiness of Ford's Canadian franchising setup.
Gen1 had hideaway-style vertical door handles, while gen2 had conventional horizontal handles (they used the same door as the Civic hatchback of that generation). From the rear, the gen2 had that vertical smoked glass panel at the end of the hatch, while the gen1 didn't.

I stand corrected, Wikipedia photos confirm this. The red CR-X seems to have a vertical hadle at the door edge so it must be a Gen1 while the black one w the conventional handle and vertical backlight must be a Gen2.
The logo and the door handles gave it away (to me) as a Ford. Since it's smaller than the Fiesta, it seems to be a stylistically toned down next-generation Ka.

It's the Brazilian Ford version of the next gen Ka. It's unclear whether the Euro version, built on the same platform as the Fiat 500, will get the same styling.
It seems rather bland compared to the current Euro Ka.>

Of course, the URL at the bottom of the pic kinda gives it away.
I'm also guessing its a '60 or '61...IIRC, the grilles became less concave with each year.

Nope it's a Gen2 (1988MY). The Gen1 ('83-'87) was a little boxier>

No cheating.
LOL. (But probably accurate.) What do you suppose is the top speed? 45 mph?
