1964 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty-Special six-window hardtop sedan. I think I can just about make out the Fleetwood lettering along the bottom and the bright rocker panel moldings. A Sedan DeVille has a thin bright strip running along the sides.
I think the one in front is a BMW 2800, which was the top of the line large sedan at that time. I believe that there was also a 2500. I think they were sold in the US in about 1969?
edit: it probably is a Bavara. Here's a link to the world's most famous (and expensive) Baveria: Jackie's
The Jaguar looks like an XK120. I also see a black 1946-early 1948 Oldsmobile behind it and what appears to be the left rear quarter of a late 1940s Packard in the foreground
The Jag looks like a XK120 Cabrio (as opposed to a roadster), the car in front of it is a ca. 1949 7-passenger Packard, directly behind it is a 1946-48 Oldsmobile, and to the left looks like a 1953 Dodge.
That Esso sign seems so out of place on a busy urban street like that, but I suppose New Yorkers had to buy their gas somewhere.
In busy parts of Manhattan (that looks like the Times Square area) they'd put the gas stations inside garage structures. By the time I moved to NY in '68 most of 'em had moved outside to the extreme East or West Side.

I think you've covered all the identifiable cars except the taxi behind the Dodge which I think is a '53 Plymouth. Jag called those Drop-Head Coupes(DHC) to distinguish them from the Roadsters which lacked roll up windows and a readily folding top (you had to assemble/disassemble it piecemeal and store it in the trunk).
No roll up windows on any Jag 120 open car. It's got the rear spats, too, which worked really well for overheating the brakes. Also if you wore spats, you couldn't have wire wheels, as the knock-offs wouldn't clear. so that's why that car has disk wheels.
Well that's what the caption in the article I took it from sez but I believe it's mistaken. Mopars did not go to a single piece windshield until the 1953 MY, and if this shot of an Imperial Crown Limo is correctly labeled Imperials were no exception.
I believe it's a '53 or '54, can't tell which but I think it looks great..
Nope, I didn't look at "properties" before I answered. Somewhere in the back of my mind I had the notion that Chrysler (and Imperial) went to the one-piece windshield in 1952 while Dodges and Plymouths had a two-piecer until '53.
However, having now researched the 'Net I have discovered the error of my ways. The Chryslers (and Imperials) didn't get a one piece until 1953, according to brochures of those automobiles. So the photo has to be one of a 1953. I agree with you. The windshield is the "big" styling difference.
I dunno, the '53 IMO seems a whole order of magnitude sleeker and more commanding than the '52 which is kinda frumpy by comparison and has little to distinguish it from Plymouths of the same year.
It's a Christmas decoration for a florist shop. Santa's sleigh!!! to delight the little ones. I had to wait to get a picture at night after the snow melted off the top to show the lights. Note Santa is in the last convertible with top down!!! All the cars have valid license plates from what I could tell. I am inferring they all run.
Peugeot 504, Peugeot 304, BMC 1100 (I can't determine the make)
Right you are, Fin. I was struck by how small the 1100 looks. I've been inside an MG1100 and they're quite roomy inside, one could carry five adults in a pinch.

I really don't know it was posted in a thread on another forum and know one knew there either.

That could be a Bentley Mk VI with a bespoke body of some sort (Mulliner or Gurney-Nutting?)
