well, i was gonna say it could also be car X ... but I can't remember what car X is ... yeah, i know, that sounds weird. But it happened to me in a restaurant. There was an artist's rendering on the wall of this car. My wife asked me what it was, I turned and said "oh, and XK120," but upon further examination, I realized the emblem was wrong, then found the name of the car somewhere on the pic ... I can't remember what ... I'm thinking Aston Martin ... or ?? ...
And like the one you posted, it is the same shape as the XK ... but I see certain details are off, like the front bumper and grille.
but I think jlbl may be right. Seems to have the 140 bumper. But those wheels seem unlikely.

I can't even see a little blue box on this one, so I have no idea how I could open it - is the original post from some sort of blog site, or something - our filtering here at work would possibly stop internet access to that, although usually there is at least a blue box with a '?' in it.
Then, XK140 (1954-1957)? Yet the door upper canto seems to be too thick
There are some signficant differences between the UK-Spec XK-140 Roadster seen in the b&W still (from Danger Man/Secret Agent) and the US-Spec XK-140 DHC. 140 Roadsters were sold here but the Drpo Head Coupe with it's taller doors, thicker windshield and side vent windows was more common.
Wire wheels and whitewall tires were also seen on most US spec XK-140s (and 120s). I think the confusion with the XK-120 comes from the fact that almost all the 120s in the US were Roadsters while US-spec 140s were mostly DHCs with the top stacked on the rear deck.
Sorry you couldn't see the b&w Magnette, you'd have probably figured it out quickly. Perhaps you can see it here. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about the general differences between US and UK XK models.
Rims are "94 M" style, as well as aerodynamic body work under the doors.
That's it, Jose, over here for the first time BMW is offering the cosmetic "M-Sport" option package to buyers of ordinary 1, 3 and 5 Series cars. This has been common in Europe for some time but until now the only way to get M Sport Options here was to buy an M3, an M5 or a Z4M.
The M Sport option doesn't make the cars any faster but they look faster.

I find these cosmetics very disappointing here, there and everywhere. To be or not to be.

Yep the S-Type was really just a slightly bigger, fancier MK II. You can tell is by the small fins atop the rear fenders.

BTW, if you don't see side marker lights fore-and-aft on any US spec car you know it is pre-1968 MY.
