57 Simca Vedette Versailles
The resemblance to an early 1950s US Ford comes from the fact that Simca bought Ford of France from FoMoCo in the mid 50s and inherited the Vedette. Ironically Chrysler Corp. then bought Simca in the 1960s (when it was France's biggest carmaker) thus giving Simca links to two of America's big 3.

Of course they didn't shoot the boar in Italy, but in another well known bastion of hunting, northern Sonoma County. :shades:
No FF though, they used an ATV.
Or put snow tires on it and use it for your winter beater......
Porsche of course.

Shifty, you always say that you buy the engine and Enzo throws a body in. You could tell your friends that it's a stealth Ferrari that you got to avoid speeding tickets.

I keep my MG Magnette in a lock-up garage in a block round the corner from our house, and the guy with the next garage has a two-door car version of this car - his one is I think a 1952, but they made them up to about 1954, possibly later with the estate. Also I have a 1/43rd scale model of this exact car, although without the woody bits.
