Right you are Magnette, it's the re[lacement for the 599GTB. I hope it looks better than the photos suggest. Pix make it look overly busy.
And could Ferrari and every other maker clean up their naming schemes. How do you go from "599GTB" to "F12"? I thought the F prefix was for mid-engine variants. (F40/F355/F360 etc.)
The '56, though similar, is nicer-looking in the details, IMHO. It blows away my typical theory that cars looked best the first year a new body came out, because the next year or years, they just changed things to change them.

As I recall, a major difference was that in '56 Ford changed to a 12 volt electrical system. '56 was also the year of 'safety' when Ford offered seatbelts and padded dash as options. The dashboards were quite different too - the '55 had a smaller speedometer with a clear top to let light in while the '56 was more typical of later years with it's curved top that blended into the dash. Both years were beauties, especially the Country Squire like this one.
So close - it's actually a 1955 model. The site describes it as a Monterey wagon. I'm not sure when Mercury started using the Colony Park name. I believe it was 1957.
Nice shot Lemko. I always thought H&H was a NYC outfit because my Dad took me to one on 42nd St near Grand Central but it turns out they started in Philly.
Anyhow there's a '63 Impala 4-door H/T on the left followed by a '61 Olds (88?) in front of a Jeep (CJ3?).
You could fit my old VW in the trunk of that Olds!
The Olds is actually a 1960 Super 88. That building still exists. I remember it as Horn & Hardart, then I believe it became a Barnes & Noble then a CVS.
I never have gotten a definitive answer on that. The salesman I bought a few cars from starting in 1990, said it was a 292. He was an old timer, so maybe he was right.

Yup, it was also known as the Daimler Dart. When Jaguar took over Daimler in the 60s they discovered that it cost more to produce the Dart than to produce the E-Type with it's complex monocoque, IRS and inboard rear brakes.
That's a surprise, nice given they've been disappearing from other Hondas.
Perhaps the engineers have successfully overthrown the bean-counters for control of the company. Would be nice to see Honda revert to the company they were in the 80's and 90's.
However, the alternative to the stick shift is the dreaded CVT - so another mid-size sedan succumbs to the rubber band tranny.
I saw a Daimler at a car show over the weekend. It looked like it had a chrysler hemi in it (?). Tried to post our pictures, but the site hosting them requires registration to view anything you want to share. I guess I'll have to find another place to share them from.

The 2 door Parklane wagon is the one to have for that year. Rare.

I like that it appears to have a usable back seat. The Mini, 500, and Beetle all are cramped.
2014 Malibu 2LT, 2015 Cruze 2LT,
It is a 55 as is indicated by the parking lights.
I'm not sure of the year of Lemko's Wagon but I'll take a stab at a '56 Mercury Colony Park.

Take a little Passat, add a dash of Genesis and POOF - an Accord.
+1 on that. Nice proportions, a bit smaller, a bit lighter, and you can still get a manual transmission with every 4-cylinder trim level.

Next to is appears to be a 1958 Plymouth Plaza and a 1955 Pontiac Chieftain.
On the other side appears to be a 1951 Chevrolet and a 1953 Buick Roadmaster.
