Extra credit if you know the make of the tank truck.

I guess those cars didn't come out until '94, is that right? Going strictly from memory and I'm not a Mopar guy. I do remember liking the ubiquitous dark teal-green Intrepids. Still look sharp I think, although it's been a long time since I've seen one in the flesh.

Intrepid, Concorde, and Eagle Vison came out for 93.  In 94 they offered the slightly larger New Yorker/LHS

They are all still good looking cars to me as well

For some reason there are no takers on my Mobilgas pic, can you see it?

Curious that all the cars seen to be '53 or '54 MY except the cars partially obscured by the tanker truck.

I'll take the two 52 Fords. Admittedly, the one on the right could be a 52-54. Need to see more of it. A Stude under the canopy. I'm guessing early to mid 50's.

Looks like maybe a Buick in front of the Stude.

Yup, there re two Fords, both apper to be low end models. The one on the left is a '53 or '54
and you can see the tail of one behind the truck, could be anything from '52-'54. Can't tell what is past the Ford but it looks like a late 40s car, so probably the oldest in the picture.

On the extreme right behind the Grand Opening sign is a '53 or '54 Pontiac. By the pumps we see a Studebaker that's one of the Loewy designed '53-'54 models.

The Buick in front of it looks like a 1951-54 car.

Truck might be a White, not sure.

    Yup.

At first I thought it was some GM-made variation on the Chevy 3100 but then I looked at the badge on the nose which says "Nash". I'd forgotten they made those but there's a very strong similarity in the cab area to the Chevys and GMCs.

Time for manufacturers, all of them, to quit using "Sport" as a descriptive model or bodystyle name, LOL!

As ubiquitous as "Custom" used to be.

I agree, and I think it's hurting some of them: Mitsubishi and Hyundai use "Sport" to label their 2-row version of their 3-row SUV. Why not give it a separate name? It's different enough, shorter, smaller, etc.

I think that's a '68 Torino as I don't see any head restraints, required that year.

You're right Uplander, it's a 1968 Ford Torino GT/428 Cobra Jet and it does not have the head restraints.>

The captive import Sapporo/Challenger was a Mitsubishi Galant Lambda.

Agreed, those are more appropriate on Dodge Diplomats and Buck Park Avenues but that
was Plymouth's way of trying to look "classy". It was a70s- 80s thing like half vinyl roofs. B)

Probably a K3?? They came with a variety of engines. They made a similar looking model just before the K3---it had a California name I think, but I can't remember it.

Yup, that's a 1953 Allard K3, most used MoPar 331 Hemis. You're probably thinking of the Allard Palm Beach, which was smaller and generally used 4 cyl. power
