My uncle had a 54 Chrysler coupe in that blue, or something very similar. I don't know that I've ever seen a 47/8 Mopar convertible before, so I liked this picture. A lot of mom's drove second hand Mopar sedans of that vintage when I was a little kid. They seemed to hold up very well since they stuck around into the mid 50's as I recall.
Yup. Coupe. Beautiful car. Took this pic of my tv tonight.
i had the same reaction. i never paid a lot of attention to the '60 Dodges back in the day but seeing it in 11/22/63 i couldn't help but notice the dramatic design. It's the epitome of the Forward Look

I'm not sure, but it looks like the guy in this picture is trying to kidnap the young lady. She seems to be trying to get in the car before he can get her.
lots of VWs. See 3 bugs, a bus and I think a Karman Ghia hiding at the front behind the big Ford. is that a 60? Next to the bus is an early 60s Falcon. 62 maybe?
funny that even in 1964, there is only one obvious 1950s car (inner lane in front of one of the bugs towards the back).
Big Ford in front is a 59, there's another 59, a wagon in the back at right, in front of the VW bus.
I was going to say, looks like the local VW dealer did a good business.
Way in the back, center, beside a 62 Chevy, looks like maybe a Porsche 356 cabrio. Behind the Beetle with the 53 Chevy in front of it might be a Studebaker?

Well the obvious 1950s car is the 1959 Ford at the very front. TheVw's up front look like late 50s/early 60s cars w the bigger rear glass. Behind them is a 1960 Merc, a Karmann-Ghia. A bit further back is another Ford perhaps a 1960 and a big 1961 Chevy in the middle lane, way to the left a 61-62 Olds F-85 or Cutlass.
To the right way back I can see a '53-54 Chevy which could be the oldest car, unless it's the Beetle behind it. Directly behind that, a '60-'63 Ford Falcon next an early VW 'Bus. I don't see anything resembling a Porsche 356 or a Stude.
i just noticed that the front-most Beetle W .Va plate has turn signals on lower fenders so perhaps '57 or earlier?
Newest car? Maybe the 61-62 Ford behind the Ghia, unless it's the Ghia
Oldest car? The '53-54 Chevy on the right or the old V-Dub near it, unlesx it's the Microbus.
Here's a zoom of the mystery cabrio, now that I zoom in I see it appears to be beside a 63 Chevy. Kind of Beetle-ish lights, but not a Beetle windshield:
Ghibli. Not sure how to differentiate years. '69 through early '70s is the generation.
EDIT: a bit of picture surfing on the interwebs suggests '69-'70 had the side mirror on the fender, and '72 had bumper overriders, but that pic is obviously not in the US, so could be different. But I'll guess the one pictured is a '71.

Yup, that's a Maserati Ghibli, perhaps Ghia's best ever. It's almost impossible to tell MY on these.
It's a 1997 Saturn SC-2. I recall a local mega-dealer introducing his new Saturn store with a big party-reception-gala and touting it as a new way to make and sell cars. Less than a decade later they quietly closed down Saturn to make way for their new Hyundai franchise (smart move!).
Red dashboard? Obviously the car has undergone a color change. Price is bonkers, about double market, so good luck with that. The one to have from that era would be the Rambler Rebel Wagon with the V-8.
This is a 1959. I didn't make it a mystery car because obviously there's no mystery about it:

For 1956 only, "Clipper" was treated as a separate make from Packard so it's a 1956 Clipper.
